If it doesn't have this already, and if the mod is receiving updates, I suggest it should also prevent you from being knocked off by the Ice Worm because that game mechanic of being forced off your Snow Fox is the complete and absolute WORST game design I have ever seen in my entire life.
i dont know if this is from the game or from the mod but when i use it in water the snowfox just starts wobbling like crazy making it impossible to move anywhere
I wanted to let people know that the "config.json" file is in the Steam/steamapps/common/SubnauticaZero/QMods/LVWaterHoverbike folder. In my case I have the game on Steam and I'm using Vortex Mod Manager, and the folder that opens when you are using Vortex for some reason doesn't includes the "config.json" file.
I play on controller and when I was testing the mod as default, the Snowfox was really uncontrollable, so I experimented a bit and found that the following parameters work pretty well for my liking:
Question for the mod maker: Do you think it would be feasible at all to change the function of the 'strafe left' and 'strafe right' keys for the Snowfox to make it so that they rotate the vehicle instead? I have found myself being disoriented by the controls of this vehicle, and I feel like part of the problem is the way it uses the camera for steering. I only ask this because I thought you might have some insight into how the vehicle works, and what can or cannot be modded.
