You need to use the override toggle key, but this will allow building inside the Seatruck, as well as removing clipping restrictions for general base building.
Edit: The first 3 Seatruck modules with interior buildings in them will collide with the bounding box of the Seatruck Dock, including the open end of the dock. Modules with interior buildings in them must either be disconnected or the have their attached objects deconstructed to dock the Seatruck.
Interior buildings in the 4th and 5th truck module bypass this restriction due to how the docking mechanism takes control and does not consider physics collisions.
Shame, this mod was created for QMods and SMLHelper instead of BepInEx and Nautilus. Sadly, QMods and SML have been obsolete for quite some time and are no longer compatible with the current version and newer mods from the past 2 years.
As a result, this mod is broken and needs to be remade for BepInEx
I was hoping to use this mod with steam deck I get a weird "Compression not supported" when I try to extract the compatible with "What the dock" update but doesn't do that with the non-compatible version.
Can't dock seatruck when anything inside the modules is built. How is this mod "what the dock" compatible if this isn't working? One has to decide whether to use the dock or more lockers right now. Please fix.
the dev did mention this, it has something to do with how parenting works. So sadly that's a bug you'll have to live with. So you'll have to decide between "build in seatruck" or being able to dock the sea truck. For me it was a no-brainer, i went with build-in-seatruck. I just park my seatruck on a couple flat foundations.
I posted some user images but Telda needs to approve them for them to show up. I have a LOT of storage and amenities inside my seatruck. I don't actually use my base except for the moonpool because i have everything with me.
Some tips for anyone using this mod, in addition to a fabricator, also build a Recyclotron. You can compress a lot of your raw materials by building other stuff, and then recycle them back to their base components. IE instead of 5 titanium ore, make 1 titanium ingots, and if you need raw titanium again just recycle it. Only things that can't seem to be recycled is stuff that is made with stuff that rots over time. So lubricant can't be recycled.
I use 2 modules usually, the teleporter module and the sleeper module. I like the sleeper module for the tiny jukebox, lots of extra space, and the bed is always nice. The teleporter module has a LOT of wall space. I wouldn't even have a stationary base if not for the moonpool and alien containment aquariums for the eggs.
I desperately want the seatruck, this mod, and all of Senna7708's mods for the first subnautica. I was never a fan of the cyclops. And i LOVE how compact the seatruck is. #vanlife for sure.
