I change the Offset (Y) number to 300 for my resolution of 2560x1440, and it looks like the display direction of compass is same with the true direction of game map.
Yes, there is nothing wrong with the compass. Can be proven by simply looking at the map while facing a specific direction to verify the compass is actually accurate and the sunrise/sunset isn't.
Had to look, why i don't see the compass, then i saw your Post. Tried your Offset Number, Still Nothing, then i raise the Number much higher to "Offset (Y) = 540" at my Resolution of 3840x2160.
I have a resolution of 1920x1200. I didn't see the compass at the initial download either. I found, as it seemed to me, the ideal value Offset (Y) = 30. But! At this value, when you press TAB, the compass prevents you from pressing the top row of menu buttons. I had to lower the compass below those buttons by setting Offset (Y) = 70. Thanks for the new mod! UPD: It's fixed in v1.0.1! Many thanks, Azumatt!

Seems to have stopped working with the most recent (Halloween) update.
Does that mean this kind of mod will need to frequently be adjusted to keep up with game updates?
So, you kinda helped me :D
