You can try the new version, I removed DayDurationInGameTime option since it was causing issue after issue, with only visual benefits.

Hi, I don't know if it's just me, but after installing this mod, customers don't enter the store after opening. You have to close and then reopen the store to start entering.

    I guess i've found a bug.
When I set DayDurationInGameTime to 12 (I wanted to start the day at 8am and end it at 8pm), when it gets to 8 of the night the clients don't stop coming, but start to come A LOT of clients and never stop coming.

I wouldn't recommend changing that setting, since that's purely visual and doesn't really affect the length of the day (in real-time). I mainly added it because someone requested that, but thinking about it again, that could cause issues with any mod that specifically hard code some conditions to happen on specific hours. You may get away with setting it to a bigger value instead, since most stuff would test if the hour is less than 9PM so it would still work fine.
So compatibility wise, it's better to just stick with the vanilla setting for that option, and only change the other multiplier.

I have notice with the update using the boost mod and the longer day 4x mod the restockers are not able to keep up with the demand to restock the shelves. When I used the employee training program mod before the boost mod [Boost Feature] came out and using the longer day 4x mod they were able to keep up with the demand.  I took the longer day mod out and just using the boost mod they are more able to keep up with restocking the shelves.

Did you try reducing their product placement time interval using Boost Tweaks, maybe that could help.

Not sure about that, I would reduce it till it's enough. Worst case, you could just set it to 0.

what is the difference between this mod and clockspeed?

Didn't know something like that existed, after checking that, the main difference is that this mod is more optimized as it changes the time speed before the game starts (so it only 1 change), the other mod on the other hand changes it constantly each time the clock is updated. Another difference is that this mod config is more simple as you set the number (enter 2 and the days will become 2 times longer, enter 10 and the days will get 10 times longer etc). As for the other mod, it has some sort of calculation to set how many minutes you want the day to lasts.

Fun fact: You'd have to set the day length to 120x in order for it to be real-time (the full 8 AM to 9 PM). The mod's current limit is 100x, which is roughly 10.83 hours IRL. Pretty good mod btw

A little correction, in notes i guess you pasted the Better Loans, there's something about loan amount and daily interest

This is a cool mod. I didn't even realize how much a difference slowing down the games day/open clock from blazing fast to something more realistic would make such a difference - more customers, more things to do, more time to observe what's moving and not. Perfect. Like someone else said makes it seem more real. Set mine to 4 too. Thanks!

At 4 (which is changeable to whatever you want in the cfg file) it's 30 minutes (4 times longer than default? if I read the details right. Long, but my customer count went from 111 a day to 470, and I end up doing things I didn't before like stock.
      * I also use the FF mod to speed up the customers but I'm maxed out and like the tweaks in what can otherwise be tedious regular play at this level.

By default each day lasts about 7 mins so x4 will go for about 28 mins

It is great to have the slow down because you get more customers and increase your money.  I did the 4x config so down and we are getting a steady flow of customers.  It feels more realistic the time you spend running the store.  Thanks for making this.
