I won't be able to update that mod due to the permissions and the mod author being unreachable, most of the textures are his work, and he seems to use some sort of wrapper to give you the ability to enable/disable those same textures through an *.ini file.
There a chance those textures probably need to be updated as well, so even with his permission would be something that would probably take over a day, which is something I cannot do, as we in the testing stages of .NET 9.
Thanks, for the mod. For me, mod don't worked until i changed the path to modded files in dRebalanced_P.pak before, after unpacking the folders was Game\Release\Arise\Database\Battle and DLC\Battle I changed it to Arise\Content\Release\Arise\Database\Battle and DLC\Battle for unpack/pack i used "asset editor" from GitHub
I'm sorry you had issues getting the mod to work, glad you managed to fix the packaging, I'm been busy with work stuff, as we getting ready for .NET 9 which is why I been somewhat quiet here.
I included another update to fix the packaging again, so hopefully will work for everyone now.
Keep in mind the asset editor is severely outdated and the assets saved on it will be corrupted, so don't use it to mod the assets (to repackage is fine), if you looking to mod the game use UAssetGui, https://github.com/atenfyr/UAssetGUI/releases
I need a bit of help. I unzipped the .pak files into the mods folder, however the mod doesn't seem to work. Boss HP is still 100% (tested on Ganabelt, he starts with 42K HP). Is there something else that needs to be done to activate the mod?
hello, please would it be possible to make a version of this mod to have like 10% xp gain ? huge nerf, i think we level too fast in this game and i love grinding
was expecting something to make it more of a challange... game is already piss easy, and people complaining that fights are to spongy, or take to long, clearly arn't playing properly or building properly. on unknown dif, still able to melt things with proper combos and flame use.
It's their game just let them enjoy it the way they want to enjoy it. The beauty of PC gaming is being able to modify games to play them your way whether that be making them more difficult or making them more easy. The mod's author also made a version that makes the game harder but this one is way more popular.
No one is forcing this on you and them playing it using this mod doesn't harm you in any way at all.
Did bro just say the game is piss easy? Posting without a proof doesnt prove anything Post your gameplay videos along with the "piss easy" I have seen so many kids that "pissing" out: "This game is easy", "That game is easy", etc, but none of them can show anything, writing some texts on internet and act like they know everything, kinda impressive
First of all, thank you so much for the mod, the rebalanced difficulty made the game much more enjoyable to play, even on hard mode thanks to enemies no longer being too spongey as well as not one-shotting my team.
However I feel that reducing the HP might need some attention because at late game, enemies dies a bit too fast, and boss fights also does not feel as tense as the vanilla game. Therefore, can you make another rebalance mod that only reduce enemy attacks and endurance and keep the HP as the vanilla game? If not can you show me how? Appreciate it, thanks!
You can increase the difficulty if you feel it's getting easier in end game, unless you already playing on hard and feel it's unbalanced in end game?
I did test the game from beginning to end with best gear I could get, and it felt ok for me, obviously we cannot argue personal preferences.
I'm currently not working with Tales of Arise, since I been keeping busy with other projects outside Nexus, if I ever come back I'll keep your feedback in mind.
I see. Then I would suggest to change the installation description a bit to clarify where to install the mod. Because before this I just directly extracted the content to game root directory, and what I didn't know before was that the ~mods folder was in the "Arise" folder.
I tried to build the folder structure inside the zip, so when you extract directly in game folder, the files will go in right place, I apologize for any misunderstanding.

I know this is a longshot, but do you think if you can update another mod author's work?
Full Character Texture Replacement tool
The mod author hasn't been active since 2021 and I have tried contacting him numerous times over the months with no response.
I was wondering if you can somehow update this tool mod to work for the Beyond the Dawn update?
I really need this mod tool since there's an eyes mod that I was using that uses this tool in order to work.
Can you at least take a look and see if it can be done? I would really appreciate this work!
Thanks!

Thanks.
It only starts being an issue in end game and new game+, but this is a design flaw due to lack of enemy scaling.
The Unknown Difficulty I recommend for New Game+, I increased the values across the board, and can increase/decreased further as I receive feedback.
Edit: I re-uploaded MOD as version 1.2 to fix some issues that prevented MOD from working.
