Hello! I just wanted to comment to let everybody know that the mod does work on season 2. I downloaded it onto my steam deck and it is a absolute gamechanger for me. Thank you xowny for creating this.
My copy of Tekken runs on a Ryzen 5700x , GTX1060 6GB, 16gb of DDR4 Ram (3200MHz) and is stored on an HDD.
I play on low settings with FSR 2 Ultra performance to stay on 60FPS, nevertheless the game is usually very blurry sometimes and stutters during initial gameplay and during champion select. Also stutters during heavy loads where a lot of VFX are used (like when playing with Clive).
To be short, after applying the tweaks the loading phases were much longer and there were stutter during character select but thanks to that the gamplay phases are ROCK SOLID even switching to the High or Ultra preset without hangs or stutters but to be sure I'll stay around high at maximum.
My setup will be probably go for High preset with FSR Balanced/Quality, because it literally slows everything down during high loads with a lot of VFX (for example with Lee's Rage Art).
For anything else, this is a game changer for me.
EDIT: After some more testing, the game tends to become a little instable, resulting in a little of stutter in game. Luckily, the game adjust the settings based on how ran during the match so I'll stick to the settings the game gave me.
i know this is a really dvmb question but i have a GTX 1070 paired with Ryzen 7 5700x , i tried the Maximum plus and my game runs slower there. Should i use this SPF version? and what is the purpose of CPU Tweak priority? does it apply only for Tekken 8 or for all ? Thank you !
maximum plus bumps up graphical fidelity beyond ultra, so naturally it will come at some performance cost. spf only mess with performance tweaks (but doesn't touch graphics)
got it ! I tried SPF and IT WORKS REALLY FINE . No stuttering, i can play at HIGH settings as well . Thanks a bunch for this <3 ! However, is the CPU Tweak Priority file on the Maximum Plus is really needed? What it does with tekken and does it applies to other games?
It works well but I ended up not needing it, and I'm having problems on how to remove it as I want the original look of the game back. I forgot to back up the real engine file and now I don't know how to go back.
this is probably stupid to ask but, since both are UE5 games, could I apply these same edits to Fortnite so it stutters less? the config works pretty damn amazingly in Tekken 8

constant 58-60 fps in the FF stage and you can imagine more smooth in other stages
Specs tested:
GTX1650 Mobile 4GB Vram
16GB Ram Dual Channel 3200MHz
Ryzen 75800H
