My question of the year is why are developers against modding single player games? Mods end up creating more of a reason for players to want to play the game as they can add content to their single player games. Almost like a new game plus but way more interesting. I never could understand the hatred towards modding communities. I mean I can understand if it's multiplayer or an MMO or something. But single player games... That's quite puzzling to me. I can't really understand a good explanation as to why they don't like single player modding. I wish there was some logical and non B.S. explanation as to why..
I had been thinking about this for a while. Only thing that came up to my mind was not allowing people to get money from their product and/or modding it then selling it as a seperate game for money maybe? I am really not sure.
Well, look at the people who live in glass houses, yet throwing stones... Mods should never be monetized, in my opinion. Especially for Bethesda's sake, they always release their games in a non-complete state and they are just being fixed by the modders themselves for the last 20 years. For the other games, mods are there to add/improve/fix some elements of the game, thus increasing the potential replayability and the fun. So, if the user wishes, they can simply donate the modder for their work, in my opinion.
For example, as I have mentioned in the description, HK Aerials were there to just fly around at first. They were only reacting to the player only if they got shot by them. I remember intentionally shooting an HK after a firefight, if it was close, to make it more intense and actually "lore-friendly. One of the most disappointing oversight in my end. Mods haven't fixed it entirely, but made it way better than it used to be. At least, it was nice to see a company actually listening to their player base and actually care about them. This is why mods exist. But still, I don't find it ethical to build a pay-wall before a "modification" they made to the game.
I am sure companies have their own reasons, though. I completely understand and respect that. Gaming has become an industry long time ago and no company would want to see someone making money out of the asset they have made with great effort.

Use the version just before the current one (I don't remember the numbers). That is the most balanced version of all. But in my opinion, latest version is better than the versions before + this mod. Just play the latest version on Extreme difficulty and you will see :)

Thanks to very limited/extremely limited resources in terrain, on enemy territory/ammunition, no parts, no healing, no Skynet chips + no c4, no granades etc. "resources AtoZ" with Z additions - No Buying, No Crafting Table,No activated Skills, No upgrades + mod I fell also means, they are called (word)Hard - hard in practice, Extreme difficulty(very hard - word) - very hard in practice(level games), both instead of designed candy(banals in practice/manipulators/(anti levels - all - to 100%, funny banal simulator, trap) from start to finish. Game is done very badly. Not fixed bug in Metro Station - you have to run after the Baron and the rest and that's ok, but your minute late, after leaving the Metro they disappear, you can not continue the game. Ghost enemies :) Technical Problem: This game for me has 2 crash UE4 fatal error or game freeze then desktop. 1st when I'm fighting with HK Tank Boss fight, 2nd crash in the last level. Newest graphics drivers helped for a few days, there was no crash problem and now the above shit. This is first install-1.030a, Windows 10 64bit. How are you dealing with this crap crash UE4 fatal error?
I have never encountered such bug in TR on my entire playtime (112hrs). After reading this, I actually played through Metro Station once again and didn't encounter the bug you have mentioned.
Yes, I had two crashes after the latest update (I had 3 in total). Yes, the chance of crashes increased after the latest update. I think it is based on luck, both the bugs and crashes. I had heard people complaining about crashes since day 1 but had just 3 crashes in total and never had a bug at all, even smallest ones. I really don't know, actually. I am just a simple man who changed some parameters to make enemies' perception sharper, that's all :)
The second meeting with HK Aerial - after leaving the Metro Station. This is the fragment where soldier dies. There is a bug. Before running outside, leaving the Metro Station Baron gives the order to run. Let They run away, stay inside, wait a minute or kill 1-4 Terminators. Run outside :) 30 to 50% chance that "the game won't s***" In my case, the game sometimes has 1, 2 crashes or no crash with Boss Tank. Random situation. Same for the last level. Now I'm trying compatibility mode Windows 7 and game as an administrator.
Such a curiosity about crash UE4 FATAL ERROR. I have been experimenting for some time. I don't have the latest drivers for my graphics card. I'm using the old ones. I ended the game on Hard or Extreme a few times and didn't have fatal errors. Now the games are absolutely not crashing, are fine. It's been over a month since the last failure.
My operating system, Terminator.exe properties/compability and game settings. Windows 10 64-bit, run compability mode for windows 7, run program as administrator. Graphics settings: Full screen, Vertical sync on, shadows medium, because of my 60hz monitor. The rest of settings are set to Epic, High etc. best as possible.
What to do to prevent FATAL ERROR. 3 things: 1. Anti-Aliasing 'Epic' drop to 'Medium' 2. For example: oops bad luck, you die. Anything can happen in the game. After that don't press Load game(latest save), just Restart from checkpoint, always. 3. Chapter 16 - WAREHOUSE DISTRICT - If you see C4/detonator in the green chest/box or "LED Chest" press E/Take everything button. Escape key/cancel means Fatal error. The Building/garage/Repair service in front of Restaurant. The green box lies by the car(is inside) "LED Chest" is moments later after leaving the garage.
I am not certain about the implementation of this mod into the base game, but it MIGHT. No information about this topic is available. And no, even if they did, I would not like to get anything besides them considering this as a little teeny tiny thank you for the amazing work they have done :)

For this, you need to add AI behaviour of all of the machines to react to the sound decoy (detection, moving towards decoy, searching, cooldowns etc.) Such thing can only be done by developers, I imagine. I actually don't know neither how to do modifications of this degree nor am sure such thing can be possble by modding. This is Unreal Engine.
Hey again, it's me. I have brought some good news. I have been playing through campaign after the latest update and I realised that THIS IS NOW POSSIBLE !! When you throw a decoy, machines (every kind) hear the sound and march through where the sound comes from. Looks like developers heard our voice and implement this feature into the game :)

Is there a possibility to make the terminators realize that you actually destroyed some of them? Like when you kill off a terminator and the other walks there realizes that there is a body there? Not to mention they are really stone deaf to whatever noises, especially when you blow up things and they still don't do anything about it.
It's really shocking how minimal attention were given to such basic parameters, for a Terminator game.
By the way how to check whether the mod is working?
Actually this has always been my major complain about this game since release. If one of the Terminators gets down or even a shot is fired, others should notice or they should communicate with each other to notify other Terminators that a human threat exists. For example, HK Aerials don't give a shite even on fly-by. This is possible, theoretically. But as I mentioned before, to do this, one should modify (actually add) AI behaviour to do this. This game is made on Unreal Engine and I am not sure about this can be done by modders. I think such thing can only be done by developers or someone who is real expert on UE4, which is not me, unfortunately.
And while playing, you should notice the difference of the perception of the enemies. They should hear and see you from farther distance. This mod makes enemies more sensible.
Hello, need to start a new game with this mod? Can you change the damage of Terminators' weapons? It seems to me that they beat harder before the patch
- You don't have to start a new game, the mod works safely on any stage of the game. - I am not sure that modifying the damage of the weapons is possible (I don't know about UE4 much) - I have only changed their detection parameters (I have mentioned them on the description with values.) so the only thing changed was their perception.
Can you give me more information about "beating harder" part? So I can look at it.
In patch 1.028a, at maximum difficulty, the terminators did 23% damage per shot, and the T-47 did 40% damage, but they were crooked, in patch 1.030a they became more accurate, but the developers reduced their damage.
This mod and Higher AI Senses change the same parameters, therefore conflicts happen between them. I just have modified the parameters that are mentioned on HAIS. Because of that, use HAIS or this, not both at the same time.

Thanks to very limited/extremely limited resources in terrain, on enemy territory/ammunition, no parts, no healing, no Skynet chips + no c4, no granades etc. "resources AtoZ" with Z additions - No Buying, No Crafting Table,No activated Skills, No upgrades + mod I fell also means, they are called (word)Hard - hard in practice,
Extreme difficulty(very hard - word) - very hard in practice(level games), both instead of designed candy(banals in practice/manipulators/(anti levels - all - to 100%, funny banal simulator, trap) from start to finish.

Technical Problem: This game for me has 2 crash UE4 fatal error or game freeze then desktop. 1st when I'm fighting with HK Tank Boss fight, 2nd crash in the last level. Newest graphics drivers helped for a few days, there was no crash problem and now the above shit. This is first install-1.030a, Windows 10 64bit.
How are you dealing with this crap crash UE4 fatal error?
Yes, I had two crashes after the latest update (I had 3 in total). Yes, the chance of crashes increased after the latest update. I think it is based on luck, both the bugs and crashes. I had heard people complaining about crashes since day 1 but had just 3 crashes in total and never had a bug at all, even smallest ones. I really don't know, actually. I am just a simple man who changed some parameters to make enemies' perception sharper, that's all :)

30 to 50% chance that "the game won't s***" In my case, the game sometimes has 1, 2 crashes or no crash with Boss Tank. Random situation. Same for the last level. Now I'm trying compatibility mode Windows 7 and game as an administrator.
I have been experimenting for some time. I don't have the latest drivers for my graphics card.
I'm using the old ones. I ended the game on Hard or Extreme a few times and didn't have fatal errors.
Now the games are absolutely not crashing, are fine. It's been over a month since the last failure.
My operating system, Terminator.exe properties/compability and game settings.
Windows 10 64-bit, run compability mode for windows 7, run program as administrator.
Graphics settings:
Full screen, Vertical sync on, shadows medium, because of my 60hz monitor.
The rest of settings are set to Epic, High etc. best as possible.
What to do to prevent FATAL ERROR. 3 things:
1. Anti-Aliasing 'Epic' drop to 'Medium'
2. For example: oops bad luck, you die. Anything can happen in the game.
After that don't press Load game(latest save), just Restart from checkpoint, always.
3. Chapter 16 - WAREHOUSE DISTRICT - If you see C4/detonator in the green chest/box or
"LED Chest" press E/Take everything button. Escape key/cancel means Fatal error.
The Building/garage/Repair service in front of Restaurant. The green box lies by the car(is inside)
"LED Chest" is moments later after leaving the garage.
Your mod is a real kick ass :)

Do you think it's possible to mod the sound decoy the way it would lure all kinds of machines and not silverfish only?
For this, you need to add AI behaviour of all of the machines to react to the sound decoy (detection, moving towards decoy, searching, cooldowns etc.) Such thing can only be done by developers, I imagine. I actually don't know neither how to do modifications of this degree nor am sure such thing can be possble by modding. This is Unreal Engine.
Is there a possibility to make the terminators realize that you actually destroyed some of them? Like when you kill off a terminator and the other walks there realizes that there is a body there? Not to mention they are really stone deaf to whatever noises, especially when you blow up things and they still don't do anything about it.
It's really shocking how minimal attention were given to such basic parameters, for a Terminator game.
By the way how to check whether the mod is working?
And while playing, you should notice the difference of the perception of the enemies. They should hear and see you from farther distance. This mod makes enemies more sensible.
- You don't have to start a new game, the mod works safely on any stage of the game.
- I am not sure that modifying the damage of the weapons is possible (I don't know about UE4 much)
- I have only changed their detection parameters (I have mentioned them on the description with values.) so the only thing changed was their perception.
Can you give me more information about "beating harder" part? So I can look at it.

Does it maybe cover more aspects of the enemy AI?
