so... a new update released and added in a "secret boss" when you place down over 100 torches in the underground and they're close to each other. It is kind of dangerous, so do you know if you placed down over 100 torches somewhere close?
I have no plans to release another version. If you like, you can always load the world in TEdit 4 and change the world type from Journey to Classic, but just keep in mind, if you lose a gem, it's lost forever and you'll need to start over. That's the biggest reason I made it a journey mode world. You can also set the enemy difficulty to classic, expert or master, where as classic world would be stuck at classic difficulty.
Thank you so much for making this "mod". I had a lot of fun playing it, and I know it'll be even better when I eventually play it with 3 other friends.
Years ago I dreamed of doing this with Super Metroid as the inspiration. It's so cool to see someone having done it with the Legend of Zelda. Awesome work!
To install the world, simply drag and drop (or copy and paste) the 'A Link to Terraria 3.0.wld' file inside the zip into "C:\Users\*YOURUSERNAME*\Documents\My Games\Terraria\Worlds". Launch the game and look for 'A Link to Terraria'.
What??? there is no world option. can you be more specific with how you got there? i go under properties and browse local files for terraria and what your talking about just isnt there at all
On your PC, you have a set of folders where Terraria saves your worlds and players. These folders are separate from Steam and they aren't accessible by selecting "Properties" in Steam.
Terraria defaults it's save directory to your default "Documents" folder. In your "Documents" or "My Documents" folder is a folder named "My Games" and in that folder is another folder named "Terraria". Once inside the "Terraria" folder, you should have two folders, one for Players and one for Worlds. Unzip your downloaded "A Link to Terraria" zip file and copy the ".wld" file you downloaded into the "Worlds" folder and look for "A Link to Terraria" on your world select screen.

I hope that's more clear. Cheers!
