I'm sorry to say but there's not much I can do for you. That's most likely an issue with how the game, and more specifically 'encounter selection' works. This save file I've uploaded doesn't have anything to do with how the game's code works I'm afraid.
There is a thin chance you might just need to reload the new game plus save, by going 'Load Game' and finding it, then trying encounters right away from the main menu. But if that doesn't work, there's nothing to be done, sorry.
AH! Sorry, I will make sure to update that this coming weekend, swamped at work right now! In the meantime, I'm certain this save offers more than enough points, especially if you are using the main file version, to simply unlock them for yourself!
Just wondering if I got this right. I cleared the game once and grabbed all the collectibles and got those achievements. Now I am doing a permadeath run on very easy and at the same time finishing the achievements for all upgrades and all weapons upgraded. I haven't touched No Return at all so far.
I want to use this to unlock the Grounded achievement, because I don't really want to play this a third time and then continue to use my own savefile for No Return.
Can I do that with the "NO RETURN Unstarted" file? It won't brick anything for me and give me a fresh No Return mode?
Firstly, before anything else, I strongly recommend you find the save location that I mention in my description, and BACKUP YOUR OWN SAVES.
Making a copy of your save games and keeping them safely in a differant folder on your desktop or something will eliminate any fear or risk you may feel about using this save.
Once you've done that, - yes, in theroy you should can use the 'No Return Unstarted' optional file for this 'Mod/Save Game' and because I've unlocked the Grounded Save, which is god awful to complete so I don't blame you for wanting to skip lol, in theory that means the 'No Return Unstarted' file should let you get the Grounded Achievement.
If it doesn't automatically unlocked the achievement when you start up the game with my new save added, then you can google ways to get Steam to recognize your achievements from someone elses save.
Apperantly according to google, if you connect your steam deck to a PC where you download this file, via a usb cable or something, you can drag it that way? I would recommend googling how to transfer PC Save Files to Steam Deck on youtube, and learn from a tutorial.
Sorry I can't be more help, never had a Steam Deck before.
I want to keep my Autosave file without being overwritten, because I started New Game+ and progressed in it a little. Which file is the Autosave so that I ignore?
Find this location in your computers files: (Your User Profile)\Documents\The Last of Us Part II\<user-id>\savedata (If you're not certain where that is, or how to find it, try googling The Last of Us Save Location and watching a video on youtube, you could even find one for the Part 1 game instead of Part 2, and would likely work the same eitheway.)
From there, just download the file you want from this mod, and make sure you have something like '7 Zip' software on your PC, that you can also download by googling 7 Zip online and finding it's website.
That will allow you to open the ZIP Folder that you download from this mod, which in turn will let you acess all the folders that make up the save files for this game. Just select them all, and drag them into the directory folder I mentioned at the top of this comment. Windows will likely ask if you wish to overwrite your existing files, and just click yes. Once that finishes it's green bar loading, you should be able to start the game and have it work perfectly! Hope that helps!
Hello sir, I want to play the no return mode myself and open the challenges, but there are some closed options in the no return save file, but what can I do in no return to get points to open them?
As far as I understand it, simply completing the objectives that you can when you start No Return, will grant you points and as you play more of the content will become unlocked for No Return. I recommend to just keep playing and unlocking stuff, and soon 100% of the content you want access to should become available.
I guess I didn't express myself well, I downloaded the save file of no return unstarted and there are still some concept art locked in the game, what should I do to open them?
Right, got ya, thanks for clarifying. I actually mention this for the No Return Unstarted File. When you play through No Return yourself, and just progress it in general, i.e unlocking more characters, completing runs, achieving challenges set in the No Return Challenge Menu, etc, you will slowly unlock more points to finish off buying the concept art.
So no need to worry, just play No Return and enjoy yourself, and once and a while go back and check to see if you can afford more Concept Art yet. You will be able to make far more points in No Return than you need to finish unlocking the concept art, so don't worry - that means you don't even have to 100% No Return, and you can still finish unlocking everything like the concept art.

I'm noticing in the "play guitar" thing in the menu though that none of the "extra guitars" like the electric ones are unlocked.
Thank you so much for informing me of this!
