Being able to play joel over abby would be sick, not only just cause it would be funny with the ellie vs abby cutscenes but also I think it would fit more with Abby's more aggressive playstyle. I think Joel even uses abby's animations in no return but I could be wrong.
He does use Abby's animations. There is a way to load abby's animations instead of Ellie's, but I cant do say how at the minute.
EDIT: Also, modding Abby is annoying. Animations break, and if you don't have jedijosh's mod menu, it'll more than likely break. I do have a way I'm going to try to go around this so you can play as Joel in abby parts, but I have yet to try it out.
I understand. If you could, I think it would not only be sick and actually kinda fitting (Joel on daycare duty again with Lev) but really funny for scenes where Ellie and Abby usually fight
I downloaded the latest version but I can't use it. The loading of the game causes it to crash and I can't use Joel. Also, could you please tell me who he replaced?
This issue is now fixed. And to enable Joel's skins, look in the extras menu for Ellie. You'll need to have played through the game once before, or download and use a 100% save file and install it from Nexus.

Amazing Mod,I also want to adjust Joel's Revolver to 6 Rounds but with extra Damage and Tommy with 10 rounds M14 to make things Realist in No Return Mod, But after unpack the .psarc file, have no idea on how to adjust those .bin files, Does it requires some special Softwares for that?
I think you'd need to go somewhere in ss-rogue? And you'd need a hex editor. At least, that's what I'd use. If you want to make it easier, just use the dev menu from VIPO77 in the tlou modding discord. You can find links to it on Specliser's yt channel.

I dig in a little bit, thought the weapon files are probably in the player-specific-weapon-overlays, the only thing is that Speclizer"s DC Tool doesn't support TLOU2 PC right now, so its very hard to modify those files. Btw I think in no return mode all character's weapons are in ellie and abby weapon files which can be found in the player-specific-weapon-overlays under bin file. I used dev menu and tested other weapons such as wolf's M14 and Tommy's 4 Round Sniper in Story mode, most of them have animated and skeleton problems which make characters act strangely.
How about you mod the rattler captain in No Return to be Abby instead, so we can have the cathersis of actually killing her as Ellie or Joel? Also, a mod that swaps No Return Dina for Ellie so you can have Ellie as an AI partner for No Return. That way, you can play as Joel will Ellie helping you like the good ol' days!
Hi Lambi, it should be possible to insert this model in Part I right? Naughty Dog for some reason did only add the Joel Part II winter jacket instead of his new default look. Do you know how this would work? Or could you explain how I can access the model in your mod? Thanks in advance :)
