I downloaded the armor, weapons, tools, and loot mods. Copied the pak files of each and put them in (ReturnToMoria\Moria\Content\Paks, however the mods don't seem to be working. Anyone possibly know why? Was it maybe the update from Aug?
I'm more than halfway through the game, and so far the most problematic tool is the Quarrymaster pickaxe.
I didn't even realize until my stockpile of metal fragments became seriously diminished, that the Quarrymaster uses a RIDICULOUS amount of metal fragments to repair. So I'd love to see an optional mod for just that Masterwork tool.
I'm surprised there isn't a way to produce metal fragments at, like, the workbench.
Edit: I just tried the mod, and only now realize that this mod essentially increases the "health" of the tools. This is less useful than I original thought. The Quarrymaster with the x5 version takes 200 metal fragments just to 'repair' it up to the new value, but strangely enough every other tool repair costs next to nothing compared to the Quarrymaster (max is usually 5).
The Quarrymaster (Pickaxe_2h) is set to use 30 fragments upon initial repair, whether it was used once or a hundred times, ouch. Then the cost to repair increases depending on a curve, double ouch. I ended up just making my own personal mod to fix this issue, using the x2 version of this mod as a base.
I uninstalled and restarted the game. Close the game. Reinstall the mods. Start the game again. I created a pickaxe, a torch... same problem. Could the fact that the games are in French cause the problem?

Either way, the only thing I can think of is to kill your dwarf. The respawn may restore the mods effects.
