Hey im trying to make a simple texture replacer (replace the xbox buttons with the Playstation ones)
    here my steps
    1. extract the textures using umodel
    2. edit extracted TGA files
    3. fire up unreal 4.27.2
    4. match folder structure and import edited extracted assests (TGA files)
    5. cook for windows in UE4
    6. pak mod using unrealpack  (Playstation_Icons_P.pak)
    7. place new pak file in ~mods folder

however nothing happens, am i doing something wrong?
    any tips would be appreciated!

EDIT: i solved it, i followed the guide and installed UMU works now

Hey, were you able to use the UMU to access the game? Did you use the basic or the premium locked behind the patreon? I am trying to get it to work by using the free version, and I cant get the game to load regardless of my findfileinpakfiles version override...

Would you care to share your settings that led to success in loading the game? I want to be chaotic and all sorts of items that dont belong :P

now if only a mod that makes bags bigger. 10 slots, is a tiny ridiculous amount of storage space. I have reached the elven area of the mines. I had built a base of sorts near the beginning, which I honestly wished I hadn't bothered, because from what I can tell, nothing really matters outside the mines, apart from completing the intro / learning to play the game, but I just can't help wondering why the tiny bag space, and then they have even smaller bags lol.
Surely there must be a way to add bag mods to the game, or actually mods in the first place, if not, then people are going to find hacks and work arounds which probably spoils the game at various levels for people, instead of just giving us a nice big sack with 250 per slot stack able items of the same things or even 100, it doesn't really matter.  Now I find myself despite all the resources around I can't even do the simple things like light wall mounted torches etc lol

asixpiecenug Glad to hear you're interested on modding this. I created an article that should answer your question, and more. https://www.nexusmods.com/thelordoftheringsreturntomoria/articles/2 I didn't have to use the features from premium. Once I created the pak file; moving it on the installation path worked.

sylvantino The good news it's based on Unreal Engine 4; Being one of the most populare game engines, there are lot's of resources out there to learn modding it. As per your complaint I haven't had the issue with backpack capacity. I don't want to spoil it for your, so definitly explore your base ;)

      Sorry to hear that.

Can you double check the following files have been created on your epic games installation path?
      {your_epic_games_installation_path}\ReturnToMoria\Moria\Content\UI\HUD\Overlays

From my end I did another sanity check, by reinstalling; and it is working as expected.

This now is fixed on latest version.

Context: I was able to replicate the issue by re-installing the whole game. Issue resolved by compressing the loose files into PAK.
