That's normal. It should also say that it's a "bounce mod". When you get the message, you're redirected to the character select screen for Play Titan Quest instead of Play Custom Quest so you can choose your normal characters, then you start the game and the mod will be enabled.
What exactly did you do? You're supposed to launch the mod, then the message appears, then you click the message away and click Start to enter the game.
I made a fresh installation of the game then tried to do what you talled me still not working it seems I will not enjoy your mod thanks for your response and trying to help me
You don't have the Eternal Embers expansion do you? nevermind, it's unrelated. I'm not sure what the cause is, you sound confident that you followed the instructions correctly. If you thought the message meant the mod didn't launch, and then went back to launch the mod again instead of just starting the game then you would definitely crash, but you say you did it correctly.

so the Q is the mod is already loaded in the forth step and no need to do the fifth step, or what?
You are done after step 4, then you just keep playing the game. You cannot play with a Custom Quest character, you have to choose one from Play Titan Quest after it redirects you.

Hello Is there anyway I can only use the lootplus and xmax parts of the mod? I don't know about awesome artifacts but quest items resized doesn't agree with tq vault and so I would rather keep the vanilla versions.
Quest items resized works fully well with TQVault, it just means some items might be overlapping in vault if you've placed them too close to each other. It's only a cosmetic thing, you can still grab each item and it works as intended.
You can delete the files called XPack2.arc and XPack3.arc inside the Resources folder in the mod directories. That will remove Quest Items Resized from Ragnarok and Atlantis. You can't do with EE because XPack4.arc also contains other mod files that you need to keep.
In the next version of the mod it's likely that you won't be able to delete either of the files due to new mod files being added to the archives.
I didn't quite catch why you want to delete it though, when TQVault does work with the mod. Going forwards it would be best if you could get it to work for you the way it is. Quest Items Resized is a very good QoL mod after all.
When I ran the mod I had one of those keys of chaos in storage and it was only taking up one square. But when I opened the vault, the key was taking up four squares.
Yes, it normally takes up 4 squares, but not with the mod. It doesn't hurt that it still takes up 4 squares in TQVault, with the mod you can even place 4 in a 2x2 grid and they will overlap in the vault but it works perfectly fine.
Thank you for reporting it. It would appear that the templates that are used for pets and monsters don't include defensiveBleeding as a property, so even though I set it to 100, the compiler can't parse it and removes the property. The templates do include most other defensive stats so it's odd that this one is omitted. I will add it as a passive skill in the next update, that would presumably still work.
Yeah, Metamorphosis is a good candidate as a "last in line" skill for this effect, for example. Unfortunately; creature template only has physical, pierce, elemental, poison and vitality modifiers, as well as sleep, stun, trap, freeze and petrify for secondaries so it's not possible to define it at a creature dbr. It has to be with a skill - defensive parameters > defensive special group. Excellent mod, btw :)
I'm just going to give them a new passive baseline skill that's applied from level 1. It doesn't make much sense that a golem made out of rock and lava can bleed, so it's going to be baseline.
I'm loving your mod and I want to try to change the concussive blows ability in defense a bit. I want to give it 40 OA per Skill level to buff maces and more importantly make melee hybrid builds like Juggernaut more doable without perfect items. As it is the Juggernaut and some other defense mastery pairs have too low OA in later stages and no skills to help out so they miss too many attacks to be viable compared with playing them as casters.
I would really appreciate if you could help with that or could direct me somewhere to learn it.
Defense gets a lot of Dexterity from its mastery tree, and it has the Shield Smash ability which reduces the enemy's DA by a whopping 50%, so it doesn't need massive amounts of OA. If it had a passive that grants additional OA then your OA would be much greater than the enemy's DA. Defense is not supposed to be a crit-heavy mastery, and it is already one of the strongest masteries in the game. OA earned from gear is usually enough when combined with items, artifacts and relics that increase your attack speed for more Shield Smash procs. A good tip would be to use the Primal Magma charm from Ragnarok as it is guaranteed to give 25/35/35% attack speed if you complete the charm while it is already applied to an item. (So add the partial charm to an item and then add the remaining pieces)
Learning how to mod TQ yourself is a bit convoluted, especially if you want to edit this particular mod rather than creating a new mod. I'm afraid guiding you through it would be too much of a time investment on my part.

In the changelogs you've mentioned you'veadded 50% life and mana leech and 100% bleeding resistance to Core Dweller. Version 8.0
Looking in the unpacked .dbr there are no entries for that. “defensiveBleeding” is 0 everywhere. Have you added it to some skill as a property?
