    I had 21.06.08 in hand and tested with it. Works just fine. (SpecialK)

    Hello, I am not fimilar with special k. Yet I tried to work my way through it. I likely have failed becuase I still get xbox icons. 
    I tried to Simply copy and paste the file into Tomb Raider's folder but it is still not working. Any advice?

      2. Extract those files
      3. Rename SpecialK32.dll to dxgi.dll
      4. Now copy all those files to game root.
      5. Download my mod.
      6. Extract my mod and copy folder SK_Res with all files inside to game root.

      Run the game

    Hello.
    If you are playing game in HDR. SpecialK SKIF works quite well with this game
    1.  First turn off fullscreen in game options. I cant alt tab back with it on.
    2. Put my SK_Res textures in SKIF Tomb Raider game profile. If u dont know how, ask.
    3. In game activate SpecialK (Ctrl+Shift+Backspace)  and enable HDR->HDR Setup and enable scRGB HDR (16bpc)
    Thats it.

    Game in HDR tonemap looks quite awesome.

    hello, can you help me to fix my problems? i just download your mod and replace in my folder game, its success to change playstation button but in QTE still XBOX button, its just like the button is missing

      Sorry nothing i can do about QTE. They are not textures but some flash files. Maybe someone with advanced hex editing can change those. They only appear at the beginning of the game tho.

    Just wanted to let folks know (in case someone's interested) that this mod also works on the Definitive Edition (MS Store) by using the 64 bit version of SpecialK.

    Oddly though, only a handful of actions still display the vanilla Xbox button prompts (like when the game let's you know you can use the Circle (in this case it displays the Xbox B button) or in some loading screens it does show the default buttons - Only noticed with the scramble action and the loot action - perhaps different addresses on the executables so the textures have different names?)

    But the Menus, QTEs and context buttons during gameplay are all working as far as I've tested

      Ah, Rottr?
      That would explain the RT button that some people mention.
      I never actually attempted Rottr with my mod because Rottr has native Dualshock V1 support. Which can easily be emulated with DS4Windows.
      You can try that. It would eliminate xbox popup, although if you use Gyro for aim it will popup again. Steam Gyro works better no xbox popup. But still need ds4win to emulate as V1 dualshock.

      Rise of the Tomb Raider also has native support for V2 Dualshock 4 controllers when using the controller over usb or you could use something like ReWASD and have the PS Button Prompts over bluetooth as well.

      If I knew of a tool to view files on the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition I would update the names of the Textures that aren't currently being displayed.
      As i've mentioned, it seems only the actions associated with Circle and Square buttons are "affected"

      V2 cant be emulated. I guess a lot of people use generic gamepads or dualsense.

      I dont have "definitive edition" from MS store. So i dont see how can i help. I didnt even knew that 'definitive version' exist :-/

      Are you refering to Tomb Raider Definitive Survivor Trilogy maybe?

      And you say that square and circle are only buttons that are overlapping? And you are positive that you do not have conflict with dual input of some kind?

      Honestly i dont feel like giving MS money to buy the game just to update this mod.
      Also face remake just doesnt feel right and as people said, they sucked life out of her face , new face has 0 emotions on the face. Like plastered
      Same thing happened to Final Fantasy X HD. Characters talk , but face doesnt move. Horrendeous 

      If i were to replay the game it would probably be steam version with PS4 textures
      Feel free to gift me MS game key if you wish and i will do my best to update the mod

      I haven't tested this on any of the Tomb Raider Trilogy games that natively support the DS4 (retesting with bluetooth I mean) but the other Playstation Titles I've tested will show PS Button prompts over bluetooth using ReWASD (with a V2 DS4 or an official DS3 emulated as a DS4)
      This is true for the Spider-Man titles (Remastered and Miles Morales) and Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West.
      It probably works with God of War, Uncharted 4, etc.
      I would've tested with Batman Arkham Knight (which is one of those games that don't like V2 DS 4 controllers) but I've got tired of the game play, didn't have ReWASD at the time and kinda needed the disk space the game was taking up.

      The original 2013 game with Ghostblade's Definitive mod is much better than the vanilla game imo.

      The official (albiet quietly released) Definitive Edition has some improvements in terms things like water puddles in some areas that the original PC version doesn't have (along with Lara's different model and other lighting/environmental stuff) and it also seems to have voice command options now (not my cup of tea but still)

      Only reason I got it was because it was really cheap and I was curious about it lol

      I do not use rewasd. 
      But if that app doesnt use something like "hidhide" it will cause issues that you mention. Because it will result in double input and result will be precisly what you are experiencing. 
      Issue might not happen on every game, depends how they wrote controler recognition. 
      Double input will also cause game to respond twice on input.
      It's really weird that only 2 buttons have overlapping textures.

      Which gamepad do you actually have?

      Try installing hidhide.

      TR 2013 was being sold for 2$ on steam from 6th dec and ended 2nd.January 25

      When ever app is used to emulate another controler it also leaves original gamepad, but tries to hide it , poorly.
      Some games will detect that 'second' controler and cause issues.
      Thats where HidHide comes into play.
      Hidden (red) is original gamepad V2 and white icon is emulated V1.
      HH also blocks every single application which attempt to hijack gamepad. Nvidia app, steam, windows. When it hijacks some buttons start not working or not working corectly or even entire gamepad stops functioning (Wifi only)
      Whitelist only acceptable app's. Application tab. In your case rewas and ofc HidHide.exe it self. Nothing else
      DS4win will recognize hidhide

      It doesn't have to do with duplicated inputs, caused by the physical controller not being properly masked.
      I've progressed a bit more and noticed other instances where the default buttons are displayed.
      My guess is different addresses or different names for the textures between the original version of the game (which I actually own on Steam and Epic Games Store as well) and this Definitive Edition.

      I don't believe this game (unlike the sequels) had PS controller support added but in any case I'm using my official Sony Dualshock 3 emulated as an Xbox controller in ReWASD in this instance.

      The scenario you've mentioned is similar to how Arkham Knight behaves with V2 Dualshock 4 controllers (without third party apps) in a sense that it needs Steam Input in order for the controller to be picked up by the game but as that makes the controller appear as a Xinput, it displays Xbox prompts instead of the PS ones that it has.

      Thankfully more modern games (compared to Arkham Knight I mean) like the latest Tomb Raider trilogy titles (Rise and Shadow) or the Playstation PC titles don't have issues with V2 DS4 controllers.

      I believe this version of Tomb Raider is a bit different.
      I have the Steam version installed on another drive (kept it because of the mods and the small size) and I can't say I'm a 100 % sure there's no "missing" button because I haven't replayed the game from the beginning to test but I believe the behaviour is different.
      I know that the Big files in the Definitive Edition have different names (and I believe the executable itself is larger than the one from the original version)
      I went ahead with this as a way of testing the mod from the beginning of the game while checking this version of the game out.

      Yeah Sony changing name and ID of the controller and after new model release was such childish mistake. 
      I am curious about camera wobbling? Does it still happen on MS version? 
      It most probably still does, yes?

      Old adress for steam version to block wobbling (latest update)
      search for 8B CF E8 05 72 41 00 84 C0 74 1A 56  (i found it at offset F5DE).  then change the "74" to "EB" 
      Bold numbers are constants across versions (epic/steam/gog) so far. It probably wont find adress , since they rebuilt the exe in x64

      Its absolutely impossible for me to play the game with that wobble. I got big ass monitor and that camera wobbling gets me massive headache.

      The Camera Wobble is definetely still there and the QTEs are about as dreadful as in the original game too lol.
      I've never worried too much about it though.
      I use a 27"  1080p monitor so nothing crazy.
      One thing I've noticed and I don't recall seeing in the original game is sometimes while you're walking, Lara will briefly turn her head and look to the side before facing the direction you're walking.
      It happens for example when you start at the campfire in the Coastal Forest and begin to make your way down the area with the bridges that lead to the Gate

      It definitelly happens in old game as well. And that is precisly whats triggering one of camera wobbling. When she cocks her head like that camera sways.

      On 24" and perhaps 27" wobbling isnt much of an issue. Player field of view is very small. I played game first time on 24". it was annoying but nothing crazy. But now on big screen its insane. Add ultrawide on top and my brain wants to jump out of skull.

      Who ever thought that adding sways to games while player (gamer) head is stationary was certainly very narrow minded or maybe just plain evil

      Some "small stuff" developers add to games thinking are cool or will work out well and resonate just right with players ends up either on player's pet peeve list or at times almost breaking the experience.

      I don't think I would particularly enjoy using an Ultra Wide monitor. I'm cool with the extra real estate for applications and working related use but for gaming I think my eyes would be begging for mercy rather quickly, specially since I don't have enough room to properly accommodate a large monitor, which would mean being at a painfully close distance. Not ideal

      UW really isnt intimidating or uncomfortable as it may seem. Gaming on uw for me was/is breathtaking. I started with racing games, forza 4/5, experience was exhilarating! I needed more lol, moved to witcher, red dead, resident evil, baldurs gate and recently even path of exile 2. Old/new titles.. That extra side space in the games changes experience to new levels. 
      First experience with Forza was overwhelming i was so engulfed in it that i grabbed my phone and started recording monitor just to try to capture and share the experience...

      I have 49" tv uw for movies and 34" for PC. Sometimes i switch to tv if im playing something really breathtaking like space games. That feel is simply indescribable. 34" is super sweet spot for me and my head. I am sitting at maybe 1.5 meters away from 34" monitor. Its perfectly fine.Everything is right there , there is no need to "sway head" as some might think to see corners and such.In fact i would say that 34 fits perfectly in my eyes and lines of vision. Entire monitor is in my eyes. When i was looking at non uw it always bothered me that on the sides of monitor i see wall instead of monitor so i would sit closer just ..not to see wall of the house. But it wasnt good enough as if something was missing.. immersion was nowhere near as good. UW brought that immersion 
      TV is further way
      The Last of Us for example i was playing on tv. I was freaking out like a little child of how good gaming felt

      I am also average built person 1.90cm or so in height. 

      P.S
      There was one game that had serious issues with monitor (not uw per se, but bigger monitor in general) 
      Kingdom Come Deliverance. Bloody hell, those devs enforced FishEye effect to the game so everything looks like through freaking tube (they thought it would give game more 'depth'). It was abominable, my eyes were burning into my skull it was literally painful . I had to resort to reshade and "perfectperspective" option to 'flatten' the image.
      On small 24" you dont even see that fisheye most of the time. But when you enlarge that..

    I follow instruction on reply to SalahAlajmi below, downloaded SK_0_11_0_49  <~~ but before I paste all its contains to game root, I replace the dxgi.dll with the one on your mod: SpecialK 21.06.08 (Optional File) 

    then paste all files from Update- Missing texture buttons (Update FIle) to game root.

      Hello. SpecialK has anti piracy protection. If it detects cracked game it will not launch the game.
      You can try changing in .ini maybe it will help.

      Does game works without SpecialK? 
      Did you enable dx11? <-- this is important. 
      SpecialK did not have non steam games support back then in newer versions you could disable steam check with config.
      Open dxgi.ini (its located inside your game root folder and is auto created by specialK dxgi.dll)
      Find this
      [Steam.Log]
      Silent=false
      and change to 
      [Steam.Log]
      Silent=true
      In theory it should enable SK to work with non steam games. 
      Also if 0.11.0.49 doesnt work you can try 21.06.8 , that is what i have on my pc. It works so i never bothered to change.

      I already try the other version of special k. I don't know if dx11 is enable and i don't know how to enable it. I tryed to change steam log and the problem is here. And yes the game work without special k but i remark the game detect the controller like keyboard and mouse same if i use ds4 widows

      Hey.
      I am not sure as i do not have Epic game. Your last option would be to try NEW SpecialK inject tool
      DELETE old dxgi.dll because this will inject new one directly into the game does not need anything else
      It requires installation on pc. It will auto recognize game if it doesnt add it manually. Press Play and it will automatically inject appropriate DLL for the game.
      But you need to copy my texture files to different place.
      %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Programs\Special K\Profiles\Tomb Raider\SK_Res
      it works on my side




      Game only supports XBOX.
      If you use Ds4windows you need to emulate gamepad as xbox.

      P.S
      EPIC Has tendency to Recompile games as x64 instead of originally released as x32!
      Maybe that is causing problem? As one attempt you could try using dxgi.dll (x64)

    Я маялся 2 часа. Для тех, у кого не работает - уберите галочку "приоритетный режим" в настройках игры и делайте все по инструкции от автора. Только тогда не будет краша и все заработает. Автору лайк.

    I'm sorry, did I miss something?
    Sometime when shoulder button appear or on loading screen it keeps showing xbox icons.

      I only changed textures in game. Not game loading screens. Thats something else entirely

      If you are using GYRO for aiming from steam (mouse for aiming), i cant fix that. Steam is stupid and enforces xbox for brief moments when using Aiming L2
