Find your Devastation save in your documents folder, make a back up just in case Drag this gamedata file to HxD afterwards
Open the mod folder and find the game data file. Drag this file to HxD
Keep track of your save, you can identify the 100% save from the first 4 numbered entries 66 06 00 00 01 Copy EVERYTHING from after 01 (highlight the first number and scroll all the way down until the very end and shift+click to easily highlight it all) Go back to your save file and paste insert the entries into your save file.
If everything worked correctly you should be able to open the game and see everything unlocked. You can check challenges and see the inventory you have
Im pretty sure i did, but for clarification, i take the 100% file and copy everything after 01 then just paste it to my save file? Or am i supposed to do anything else?
Yeah from what I remember you just copy everything top to bottom after those first 10 numbers. If you want you can dm me directly and we can talk more about it.
This worked for me. Do a quick Google search to find the software to convert this save file to have the Steam ID of the cracked game's save file. To all that said it didn't work, Reddit has the solution and you can find it on Google. HxD is the only solution.
I get a message saying that this save data belongs to another steam member and as a result fails to work. I hate how this game did not save to Steam cloud as I did not want to start from scratch.
All you have to do is download HxD (a very useful hex editor). You'll have to locate your own save file then open it(in your documents there's a Transformers Devastation folder), after which you'll have to copy the first four bits to those from the 100% Game Data. Save your newly made file into the aforementioned folder, instead of its predecessor, and enjoy! (Choose a high enough difficulty level though, or it may not be a challenge at all...)
