so think i got it, had to re run Reshade 4.9.1 and uninstall from directx and re install for vulkan, i think i have to then leave it open for it to work lol
Seems you figured out most of it (I didn't even know Valheim had Vulcan) But you shouldn't need to leave anything open. The Reshade installer just injects the same files I kept in my Upload.
Reshade works differently with Vulkan for some reason, you need to either leave the installer open when you play or enable reshade globally for all vulkan games

Sorry I’m a bit confused, if you have it for download somewhere I’d love to get my hands on it. If it’s someone else’s work you can point me to that would be great. To be clear I’m speaking about the textures over the kiln/smelter and wood surfaces in one of your screenshots.

I wish I could produce Reshades closer to what colors my monitor shows me, But not everyone has those capabilities settings-wise. This is why I've started calibrating for more standard colors. I just like to make Red actually red, or green True Green instead of the usual grey, green, or blue filter that seems to lap over most games.
Here's an example of my monitor settings from another reshade I'm working with( had to be taken with phone)
I hate you man! I can't get used to vanilla again :p I cant use steam shortcuts when this mod is enabled. It would be cool if mod didnt prevent me from shortcuts.

This was the latest Texture pack I used.
Look for "Global Font" Try adjust the Size slider
what are the settings you run? Like Bloom on/off
LOD? And what color calibration on your monitor would best represent?
