Another comment begging for an update to this mod. the lox is just a hairy fashion accessory unless it can actually do things like break rocks and fell trees.
Please. For all the things holy. Update this mod. You have no clue how essential this is. It feels like the dev cheaped out on us not having this in the game from the get go. So this mod is so much more important.
Hello I get error messages when launching the game. MissingMethodException: ItemDrop/ItemData Inventory.GetItem(string) stacktrace: (wrapper dynamic-method) Player.DMD<Player::Update>(Player) is this mod updated?
I'm trying to figure out what the keycodes for using an xbox controller would be. I'm trying to make attack 1 right trigger and attack 2 right bumper. I've set them as mouse 0 and mouse 2 and that worked, but only on the mouse. Just wondering if you might know what I need to set it as to get it to work on the controller.
I didn't test it because I don't use a controller. But you can try it with the joystick buttons:joystick button 0try different numbers at the end. I don't know if it works. (https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-InputManager.html)
I'll take a look and see what I can figure out. If I can get it working I'll post what I did here just in case anyone else is wondering about it. Thanks!
In the config, I set the value to 1 and the attack does not occur immediately. Or you need to sit on a pet when it attacks someone. Plus, if a pet dies and you sit on another one, then he can't attack even when the skill level corresponds to the required one - you also either have to ride him for a long time, or sit down during the attack.
I'm not quite sure if I understand the issue correctly. Did you change the PrimaryAttackKey to 1 or are you talking about the required minimum skill level? I didn't tested the attack keys on numbers because these keys are used by the hotbar.
Yes, I changed the values in the config from "10" to "1" and from "20" to "2". And the pet did not attack faster, although at the time of the test the skill was already at level "7". Or did I misunderstand the meaning of these configurations and they affect something else? I just wanted to check if the mod was working and therefore lowered these values to a minimum.
The meaning of the mod is that you can manually execute an attack when riding a lox. Attacks shouldn't get faster or anything like this. So in your case with skill level 7 (and the other values on 1 and 2) you should be able to execute both attacks of the lox (bite and stomp) by hitting the defined attack keys.
Nah, it's not working. I'm just riding it. In the log, he writes "1st attack" and "2nd attack" when I press the buttons, but the pet itself does not attack. When I get off the pet, I wait for him to start attacking someone, and then I sit back on him, then after that I can give him the command to attack and he attacks. Maybe there is some conflict with the taming and saddling mod - I tested your mod on a tamed and saddled dragon (I haven't tried it on other pets).
I can confirm that the modded mount attack option works both with wolves and completely custom creatures! But could we have an option to manually select the attacks we want to perform on these keys like Battelmounts does? My custom has both ranged and melee attacks but the mod auto-selected two melee.
