First of all, before you report a bug, please make sure that the problem you are experiencing is actually caused by XPortal. If you are running other mods, disable those, and see if the problem goes away. Or the other way around: disable XPortal, and see if that makes the problem go away. If you discover that XPortal is incompatible with another mod, please do report that, because I might be able to create work-arounds for that. If you are not sure, or you are struggling with these steps, then just report the problem, and we'll go from there.
It is important to me that I can make XPortal as bug free as possible, but please bear in mind that without your "LogOutput.log", I will not be able to debug your issue at all. Just showing me a screenshot of an error is not enough for me to discover the cause of that error.

To add a translation to XPortal, choose Translation when submitting a New issue.
Yes, your portals will still be there. XPortal will query the game data to find all of your existing portals.
I tested on a really old world where I had a giant portal hub and everything continued working the way I had left it. XPortal does not change anything until you tell it to.
it does work but I have a question that I can't find the answer to; The double cost parameter of this mods works perfectly with the default portal, but Advanced Portals costs stays the same, I tried to change them manually to no success. Advanced Portals comment section is closed, hence I'm here asking for help.
I'm using default costs until and if someone can hopefully help me.

If you go to a world where this mod was not used, then all bindings of portals to paired portals are reset. Can you tell me if there are any mod settings that do not allow to reset bindings in other worlds?

GitHub is a website where programmers and project managers can keep track of code changes and problems. It's unrelated to NexusMods, but it's the home of XPortal. If you scroll up on this page (the one you are looking at right now), you will find a post at the top of the page written by me, that contains a detailed explanation and links to the pages you need.
Ultimately, I just need more info and your logfiles - but Nexus does not provide a good way of sending that, that is why I prefer to use GitHub for that purpose.
Is the mod currently broken? Appears to not be working on my server. It is active on both client and server. When I place a portal and name it (as well as set it as default) and set the destination to another portal it does not light up or work when i walk through it.

Everything works fine after the recent updates....other than the pop-up window being much smaller than before (ie, when clicking on a portal to assign route, location, etc). On a 4k screen it's a bit problematic. I've looked through the config and see no option to adjust pop-up size and I also see no yml or json file. Any guidance on how to increase size?

I'm pretty certain what the cause is; in the previous game update the UI broke completely (wouldn't show at all), and I fixed that by hooking into a different UI element, as I didn't have enough time to investigate why it stopped showing. My guess is that Valheim does not apply the same scaling parameters to this other UI element.
In the overall scheme of things, this is low priority. I would prefer it to be a bit larger (my guess is about 30-40% would make up the difference), but won't lose any sleep over it either way. Thanks for the response!

Nvm, restarted the game and the values are now okI'm using default costs until and if someone can hopefully help me.

It did actually break (well technically, it was Jotunn), but it was fixed within 24h :)
