I wish the developers would look to mods and custom builds like this for game ideas, the base game needs to spawn Points of Interest that look like this, or at least when you go into an underground ruin or dungeon, it look more like this, with actual loot inside. After playing with mods, the vanilla game feels so empty and unfinished.
as player nolo215 has already explained below: "This is a save map, a world, not a mod." unfold it inside your folder c: /user/AppData/LocalLow/IronGate/Valheim/World the world will appear in game inside your list of worlds non saved in the cloud. Launch the world and enjoy.
I guess I'm just not understanding what I'm not doing. I'm obviously new... is there something I need to download first? Because I downloaded with Vortex and it has a green checkmark like nothing is wrong and it should work. But then I load into a new game and nothing is there. It's just a regular base-game map. No portal, no anything.
Works ok for me with a lower tier 10600k and a GTX 980ti , looked at benchmarking an AMD 3800 but that CPU does not appear to exist. What model is the GPU exactly ? I think it is almost certainly not your CPU being the culprit for poor performance
