0.29.920 Release --- LoggerDrone no longer cuts down saplings, it will let them grow up first. All turrets and pieces now marked as immune to fire. Bumped Jotun version to match needs for Ashland release.
right this is a small problem, but, turrets and drones are flammable if fire spreading is turned on and/or using them in the ashlands, if a fire projectile hits them it rapidly burns them to the ground likewise if the turret opens up on a point blank target and it splashes itself, it can set itself on fire as well
Hi - have been very busy with work so I have not even played the new expansion yet. Is there a change in the new expansion around fire-damage and perhaps it starting fires? Or is it only in Ashlands? The turrets should most likely be very resistant to fire, being some for of magical metal - so perhaps that would be one solution.
Would you be fine with turning off food-gathering completely, for you locally? -- Edit: 0.30.930 now has Blacklist capability - add them item to the Turrets of Container to tell it what to ignore.

I have this mod called Renegade Vikings it has a trader NPC which is not hostile to player Turrets Keep shooting at him without being able to kill him is there anyway to add something to the mod's config to exclude certain mobs and npc prefabs to stop turrets shooting them? thanks
Maybe we can figure out what entity-group he belongs to. My guess is that it may be some custom one, but maybe we can set up a custom version to find out? Join discord and make announce yourself.
I had not tried the mod, now that I installed it, it has really become one of my favorites, thank you for your work. I love drones, they are very fun. Maybe at some point you can add a vehicle for water like a boat, land like a car, a drone like a flying vehicle, and a submarine. I remember seeing a warboat in some mod.
Is it possible to make a customizable cart (like valheimraft) but on land? It would be nice to be able to create your own mobile base on land and then you can attach it to a tamed animal. Imagine a boar pulling a tank blasting enemies lol.
Loving the mod! Especially the fishing drone. Being able to automate one of the many viking chores is so satisfying, and I still laugh every time I see a giant pike flying through the front door.
I was wondering if you had thought about maybe adding some other automation type drones. I'm thinking specifically a woodcutting drone or a mining drone. For woodcutting, it'd detect any cuttable wood in the vicinity, go to it, and do damage until it's gone. Same with the mining drone, but it targets stone, tin, copper, iron, silver, etc. in the vicinity. Pair either with a gather drone and the job's automated!
0.28.910 Release -- Added Logger Drone Turret. Increased range of Gather Drone from 50 to 60. Deer is no longer targeted by turrets. Missile turrets and Heavy Turret will now damage tree, treelog, stump and stones. All drone turrets beyond the normal guard drone now does the standby patrol very close to the turret. Added two new Debug Settings that by default will hide despawn and heightmap missing reporting log lines. --
The Logger Drone will automate the cutting down trees, cutting up treelogs, remove tree stubs and attempt to even break some rocks that may be blocking the cutting down of the tree. Together with the Gather Drone, this allows a new site-location to be set up with minimal running around, so you can focus on the building on the first house before nightfall comes...
Missiles and Heavy Shells will now also damage tree, logs, tree stumbs, stones, rock-hills, bushes and other things. There is a small cost of performance of a lot of missiles hit a lot of rock-hills/copper-hills (and so on) at the same time, but it should be minimal unless you are over-stacking with Missile Turrets and they all target the same monster. But this gives a more dynamic game-play and anchors the turrets more as being part of the world.
I very much enjoy this mod especially with friends, but when i built a turret in my world and when a friend visits with the same mod installed they cannot see the turret missiles flying over they just see explosions happening on the mob. Is it possible to get this fixed?
Please join discord and we perhaps can figure out what is wrong. I am not personally able to test in MP as I have no longer any mates that play the game, but perhaps debugging it we can figure out what is working and not working these days.

Is it possible to make gatherer drone item blacklist? So he would not steal food from my pets every time
(imagine being a hog eating some berries and seeing some weird steel bird just steal it lol)
