any ideas?
using BC with the Middle Earth map. I wonder how both BC and the map
itself will receive these updates? Makes me apprehensive to start long
term builds. Need I worry?
I had to reinstall the game today and didn't notice this mod working at all. When trying to load a previously generated map, the BepInEx console says that the mod is disabled.
modding at the moment (other than these version fixes).
So we can draw out a road network as an image layer and have them appear in the game
Could we have another layer to mark out building/village spawn locations?
My thinking with this one is to only mark out areas that can spawn these poi's
So if we are thinking a black and white image areas marked in white allow there to spawn poi's depending on the biome it ends up being
With a map like Tamriel - https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/624
Id like to mark out the roads and then set the poi spawn zones to be roughly where the known towns/villages are in the Tes lore
Would be awesome is to be able to create new layers our selves and assign what the layer is for in the config
An example and what is want to use this feature for
- I make a new texture layer and a draw a single white dot that represents the location of a building thats in tamriel
- I go in game and build this building and save it as a vbuild
- I add the new texture layer and assign it the vbuild file
So the result is it will spawn in the vbuild in the specific location that the layer dictates, or multiple if there are more then one dot in the image layer
If something like this is possible then it would allow us to level design worlds, not just the terrain
Its kinda a pie in the sky idea anyway
i am playing on a map thats been generated for a while, could it be i have to start a new world entirely would love some feedback!
Is there a way to use this mod to extend an already existing world ?
Like using a world where people have already been playing and adding new zones outside the original scope of the map ?
