Veinmine seems to be broken after the latest update, single player loads but joining my friend who also has the exact same version just hangs after the password screen. and yes we've both deleted the config and reinstalled veinminer but the issue persists.
I've just started using this and noticed that other sources of damage (i.e. from greydwarves and falling trees) are breaking ores. This is happening on my singleplayer world and on my friend's multiplayer server (only I have the mod installed). Is there a setting I need to change or is this a bug?
I can play in my friends world with this mod loaded, but if I have this loaded my friend cannot play until he also has Veinmine. I understand with a mod like Plan Build, but this mod isn't a competitive advantage.
Please remove this as a version as a version restriction.
I noticed that it will mine a block section with one hit, however, the rock/vein does not update. After you log out of the server and return, it will be updated to what you've done.
So you can Veinmine one spot, move a bit, hit again, and repeat. The materials that block do drop.
Effectively, it will mine the section(s) that you hit in one swing, but the model/image doesn't update, you have to leave the server and return to see your progress.
The mod is updated for Ashlands on both platforms now. I do recommend that you move to Thunderstore for this game as more mods and mod authors are maintained and active there. I uploaded 1.3.0 to Nexus just a moment ago. Should be fine if you choose to stay with Vortex/Nexus.
Additionally this makes a character named Ragnar (by name, with no model visible) appear in the character list. I've seen reports of Ragnar from as far back as 2021. This is just an interesting side note and not related to the bug.
Is this just another re-link? Hopefully it's that easy of a fix!
FYI, there are other mods that can also "summon Ragnar"; I've experienced it once. I think Mining AOE is one of them. The cause is likely a mod that is obsolete relative to the game version, but it could also be a conflict with another mod that "competes" with some of its code.
The mod has been updated on Thunderstore (where most mod authors are for this game) I don't have permission to update the Nexus one, but I do the Thunderstore version.
