Wow. I don't often post on Nexus, but this is a really neat mod. Heck, I don't even have Wargroove on PC, but I might just have to get it just to try this mod out. Having such huge gameplay differences between commanders is an exciting prospect.
Kudos for all of the work put into this. I'm looking forward to trying it out when I buy the game again on PC.
Edit - I didn't really mean to reply to the staff message, but uh... oops. I wish I could move this post to be a general comment. My bad.
Hello, I'm planning to make a mod that alters the grooves, but you seem to be more familiar with the layout of the Wargroove code, so I'd like to ask you how to do a couple of things if that's not an issue?
First, do you know how I might be able to make multiple grooves for a commander to choose from? I expect I'll have to make multiple lua files for the new grooves (I assume you had to do that to get your groove variations), but I'm not sure how to get them to appear in the dropdown menu.
Second, upon doing this, would you know of a way to make it so that after using one of these grooves, you can only use that one for the rest of the match?
It would be really helpful to me if you could help me on this. Even just the first one would be good enough frankly, the "lock-in" thing isn't 100% necessary.
