Hi idk why or how but if i accidentaly drag the buff hud, ui or idk what its called it starts to lagg the game and it goes down in the left bottom corner. If i close the ui and open it agan its not going to be in the bottom left corner but i cant use my cursor and it laggs the game until i toggle it off.
I'll be making a update to the description but FatShark changed some ability names which broke old configs. You should be able to recreate your bars if you delete the buffs_data section of the better_buff_management in your user config. Sorry about the inconvenience but I have no way of knowing what FatShark changed.
Definitely! But seeing that the last update was end of 2023 I see zero chance. I'm lost at this point. I put like a full day into putting all my buffs in order with this mod. Now it's all out the window......
Seems to happen if a buff gets renamed in a patch. Someone whipped up a patch in the Darktide Modders Discord in the mod-bugs channel.
Replace <Darktide_mods_folder>/better_buff_management/scripts/mods/better_buff_management/ui/window.luawith this file. I appreciate the detailed instructions. Most people barely put any effort into being clear and helpful these days. Granted many mods don’t need much info, but being clear and concise seems to be a dying art.
i can highlight the buffs i want but it never allows me to add them to the bar, it refuses to allow me to do anything with it. Its been this way since the start, i used Buff Hud Improvements instead but that mod seems to be nonexistent now. Is this a common issue with the mod?
