Are the timings just trial and error? I'd like to work one out for a veteran using the Mk1 Sapper shovel so any tips on determining timing would be appreciated.
For quell canceling spam, I find the timings 0.003s, 0.015s, 0.017s, 0.015s work slightly better than flat 0.02s, particularly with the Inferno staff and Deimos force sword. With the Deimos it actually almost feels like cheating, so long as you have some peril it spams the first light attack very quickly. It also works with well Assail, btw. It is possible further tweaking can make it perfectly consistent, but that's the best I've found.
I have also found that using the MultiBind mod to add extra keyboard bindings for the lmb and quell helps when it not occasionally bug when switching between weapons, or wanting to hold the actual quell key mid spam.
I wish MultiBind had a class specific profile system, that way I would do quell like so, but for me personally I have gotten used to quelling with mouse button 4. Also the timings here is only for the staff mouse 1, have not tried with purgatus staff yet. but still Note taken, I will test these timings out and update if necessary!
With multibind I only use the secondary bindings for the macros, but leave the primary mouse button bindings for me to push.
So I have mb4 as the spam macro and mb5 as quell. Multibind adds o as a secondary binding for quell, and p as a secondary binding for attack. That means I can hold mb4 to spam, then also press mb5 at the same time to override the macro and force quell, then release mb5 and let the macro continue spamming. Or I can hold down mb4 to spam melee, then press mb1 to take over and force a heavy attack, and then let lmb go to go back to spam melee.
It kinda works without multibind most of the time, but occasionally it would trip up and not work. Since using mutlibind I've found everything to be a lot smoother.
I also have a nifty AHK script running to do a few things I couldn't work out how to do with Razer macros. The most handy being using mmb to switch to blitz (I mostly use brain rupture) and also send lmb down. So with a single button press I can switch to blitz and fire/charge it instantly, which feels incredibly smooth. Maybe you can work out how to do that directly with a razer macro though? The issue I had was getting it to only hold down lmb only as long as mmb was pressed.

Not trying to say your work isn't appreciated or useful, just that autohotkey scripts (or something similar) would be more universal.
