Would it be possible to change the alignment of weapons in the off hand? When you have your staff in your main hand, the offhand weapon is left at a wonky angle, the handle not matching the hand shape and the blade edge or pistol pointing diagonally upwards.
Making the hand actually grip the handle is clearly too much work, but it would be 1000x better with a simple rotation to align decently. It looks to me like a 135° turn around the axis of the handle would fix the edge/barrel alignment and a 45° turn tipping towards the ground would more convincingly fit the handle to the hand.
It might also be possible to scavenge from the preexisting main hand pistol poses, but this is beyond my knowledge.
Small (i think) request: Would it be possible of instead of replacing the staffs to be one handed added 1h copies of them? That way some chars can still keep them 2 handed (idira, the navigator) while other can use it with another weapon?
This would actually be more work than you'd expect, because I'd have to manually add the copies to every loot content (or at least I don't know another way).
A potential solution to what you ask is to go into the mod's Blueprints folder and remove the patches for the staves you want to keep two-handed (most are named very similarly to in-game).
Is it possible to declare a few knives as swords? For bladedancer this would fit very much so I think, mabye a few of the longer looking knives? The shank from Rykad prison for example would be exempt.
I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, are you asking whether it is compatible (it is), whether it uses the native UMM (it doesn't, or at least I don't think it does, I'm 90% sure), or something else ?
This has been one of the mods i've been dying to see (in addition to shields, psyker power armor, and more force swords lol). i cant wait to wield staff+force sword as i wade into battle as santic vanguard

Allow Modded Achievements just does that.

This mod doesn't seem to be working as of patch 1.3
