Sorry to bug you, but the "Original is your last ship used" bug is still happening with the Falchion pre-order ship. I didn't even switch it so not sure how I wound up in a Dictator.
heya man, for me it keeps happening, either switches to sword or preorder edition ship, firestorm nowhere to be seen. maybe adding it manually with an option/button or something? i dunno
whats the possibility of getting a tyrant class cruiser or a dauntless light cruiser, could probably get the models from battle fleet gothic armada (honestly the ships in this game are likely sourced from there already)
working with models is a little outside of my experience, but given the issues with the existing cruisers not having all of the pieces needed to appear in the loadout window, I wonder how many pieces would be missing starting from scratch... I suspect it's not the kind of thing I will ever be able to tackle but you never if someone who can do it will come along.
Is it relatively straightforward to add the Xenos ships (Eldar and Dark Eldar) as well? Appreciate the insides wouldn't match too well, but I'm playing through as an Eldar Iconoclast (thanks to redress and toybox) and that'd be the icing on the cake.
Amazing mod BTW, I really wish full ship customization had been included from the start.
straightforward? Probably. I didn't try any because it's so lore-unfriendly. I only added the chaos ships for heretics to change to - though I admit they're kind of rad. I might look at it when I get back to working on the big ship loadout screen. Doesn't hurt me if ya'll want to be weird.
Thanks for getting back so quick - It'd be a cool "nice to have" if you do get round to looking at it.
As a related tangent, have you ever taken a look at the original 1987 rogue trader rules? Space marines with Shuriken catapults, Eldar with lasguns, and a Half Eldar space marine librarian...
Oh, I was there. I bought my first 40k minis in, oh I would say late 89? Played squats and harlequins and to be honest, I didn't stay with it into 2e because I was just too broke in college but have followed the minis and lore all along aside from a brief foray in 8e. And I do recall the diversity in weapons. Making you take a talent to use xeno weapons is a decision, to be sure, but a harmless one. the eldar having no option to use human weapons is something I would be quicker to address.

Why hasn't my model on the ship equipment interface changed
