Perusing this bozo's "mods" shows that he has a long track record of putting out this bottom of the barrel slop for multiple games. What a joke the Nexus is.
this is all trash....but Nexus has nothing to do with that part. people seem to DL this s#*! for some reason....idfk why but it's here because the majority seems to like it.
Not all mods are meant to be high quality, and I mean the art in game is whatever because of the details from the portraits don't even exist lmao. It might as well be AI made at that point.
I will never understand why default response for people is "If you don't like it, don't download it" or "then why comment?" Bro, feedback is not just positive, it's also negative, I have just as much right to say I don't like something as you want me to say that I do. You put out "your" work out there in public, we get to comment on it, it's not rocket science. If you're going to make no effort when "creating" something, then expect mostly negative responses. If you can't handle negative feedback and people calling "your work" garbage, then keep it to yourself and don't show it to public.
Yet another difference between actual artists and AI bros, the latter can't handle people not liking what they do, while most artists welcome criticism, because they want to improve.
These would be far more useful to be at 001 ---- 060 ... and not in "male" or "female" preset folders .. .cause it leads to the portrait folder not found problem mentioned in the PRODIOGI's post. As then you could just extract the whole lot to the - C:\Users\____\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\Portraits -folder and you would have the file available from there on out...
I recommend using this. Here you can easily replace portraits not only for yourself but also for companions who are already available to you. https://www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kroguetrader/mods/40
but under C:\users\computer name\appdata, etc, the AppData folder does not appear when I click on the computer name directory.
What do I do if I want to use custom portraits and why would the AppData folder not be there if I am using Steam to play the game with? I installed the game onto my D drive, not my C drive, but Steam is on my C drive.
You probably have to enable hidden folders in file explorer. For Win10 at least open file explorer, view, options, click the view tab and click "show hiddden files, folders and drives"
but under C:\users\computer name\appdata, etc, the AppData folder does not appear when I click on the computer name directory.

The folder is usually hidden. You can just write the name on the address bar, or use windows setting to show hidden folders. Or open the folder from in-game during character creation: Appearance-portait-custom-+-open portait folder.
You mean that you can't see it? Literally all AI generated pictures look the same, extreme terminator lines, "epic" rim lighting, over all terrible shading that makes no sense

Great package, especially love the "feel" of almost all of them.

Это слишком очевидная АИ сгенерированная свалка, чтобы быть качеством.
