Could you please fix the cam distance when operative do stealth kills/takedown? the camera position was too low, too close and cropped. Other than that, it's perfect!
yes I know camera gets a bit too low sometimes, but I dont know how to change that, there are way too many parameters that you need to convert just to see their values, and every little change you make needs to be verified "in game", which takes forever without proper developer tools, so I replaced some general camera instances with others, and it seems some parameters doesn't convert the same for each camera type,
The closer camera is so much better. Ubisoft ported the animations from older titles, hence why a lot of sprinting anims look janky af. A lot of male sprint anims comes straight up from Ezio/Connor (they're all kind of the same sh) Also when playing Aiden Pearce, his anims came straight up from WD1, the sprinting looks so bad with the vanilla camera that you might as well play other operators that doesn't suffer from the weird crooked leg thing going on.
hello taser :) YES YOU NEED WATCH DOGS MODDING TOOLS. It's called Gibbed tools, I can put the tools here in the "download section", if someone wants, because the tools from github need to be integrated with files from Discord, to be complete and usable to mod the game.
Yes, thanks for information! And If You can - put tools, please? P.s -- I always wants to make mods for WD Legion, but can't unpack (at least). It's not like with Far Cry...
done, it's in download section :) Basically you drag "patch" files (or any other .fat file you want) to "Gibbed.Disrupt.Unpack"(or drag to "UnpackLegion", I don't remember which one) and the .lib files drag to "Gibbed.Disrupt.ConvertBinaryObject", and xml files convert with "Gibbed.Disrupt.ConvertXml" ( not always needed), and modify the files you want inside the unpacked folders, then do the opposite drag procedure to repack xml and lib and then "patch". You can also use other people's mods as a base for creating your mods, and test and install them with "Disrupt Manager" instead of putting the modded "patch" back in the game folder, this way it's faster and you learn the mod structure needed to make it work as a mod
you can also mod other game files, not only "patch.dat" and "patch.fat", same like far cry, there are a lot of similar files in there, each file contains different game elements
follow the steps : download "Disrupt Manager" from here, I will put it in the download section for you. Extract the zip, then Run "Disrupt Manager.exe" , go to "tools" "settings" and select Watch Dogs Legion, and in "game directory" put the path to your Watch Dogs Legion main game directory (where the game's .exe is), and click ok. Then simply download the mods that you want, and put the mods (the zip file) inside the "DisruptManager/Watch Dogs Legion" folder, and finally run "DisruptManager.exe", it should be already running, if not run it again, activate the mod, clicking "install and run game", the mods should now be loaded
Hi, I wondering if it'd be possible to place the camera much more far behind to the character then vanilla, exact opposite of this mod but similar way. Maybe we could just change a value in this .lib file? Thx!
yes it's possible, but there are like 40 different camera files in the .lib, one for every situation, and you need find, and then replace the values from the camera "far" to the others, but not all, which I don't remember well now, I've done it long time ago.... it's faster to just set the FOV in the game settings to max value, so the camera will be further away

Cheers for this mod URANIA.
Sorry for stupid question, but how you make mods?
You unpacked Legion, yeah?
And If You can - put tools, please?

Finally I got something.
Now I will try to do something for WD Legion.
and finally run "DisruptManager.exe", it should be already running, if not run it again, activate the mod, clicking "install and run game", the mods should now be loaded
