I don't understand how to install the mod. I don't see any installation instructions anywhere edit: nvm i found it i just had to check the readme file :)
Are you using a mod manager bro? It seems like the main culprit that conflicts with this mod is the Scabbard Mod and any mod that has the def_areloaded.ncs and customscript.ncs files!
Can i take the mods that use that file out and back in after this one works. Im scared to remove anything this time since i have alot of mods installed and am worried something will bug out. Im mainly worried about taking out the fcr and scabbards mod.
I'm confused with this. Got it downloaded and it doesnt seem like its working. I dont see the new inventory items that allow for cat eyes, meditating, or the storage.
It might be a mod conflict, similar to that the other users have reported here. You possibly have the Scabbard Mod installed or another mod which contains the def_areloaded.ncs and customscript.ncs - the game may be reading the files from another mod, instead of this one.
Yep, the conflict comes from the custom_script and def_arealoaded files, it seems like removing the scabbard mod temporarily and installing Meditate Anywhere 2.0 mod once again in the override folder will put the items in your inventory, after this put back the scabbard mod folder into Data and then you'll have both scabbards mod with the items from Meditate Anywhere 2.0!
Thanks for uploading this! I've installed it fine and I can use all the items that it added, but whenever I meditate the game crashes after the camera does the usual spin around Geralt. The storage and cat items work perfectly btw.
I have a movement mod installed: (this one), but beyond that any idea what could help?
I'm not sure the movement speed mod's responsible - it changes only one file. But perhaps the movement is sped up so much that it breaks the witcher's standing up aniamtion... Do you have any other mods installed?
When I installed the "D'jinni" the program It asks for the game disc even though it is installed with GOG! Could you create hungarian names for the 3 file names? Here the hun translation: Meditation - Meditáció Cat Vision - Macska látás Storage - Raktár
Are you certain you have the 1.5 patch installed? The game asking for the game disc sounds as if you were still running the 1.4 version. And about the translation, I could post it in my Misc Fixes mod, it shouldn't be a problem.
I copied the folder named "File Edits" to the "Data\override" directory, when I go into the game the items did not appear. The mod does not work. Game version 1.5
Do you use Scabbard Mod, for example? There can be a conflict of custom_script and def_arealoaded files. Try this: remove the Scabbard Mod folder temporarily and install the Meditate mod once again in Override. The items will be in your inventory. Put back the Scabbard mod folder into Data - you'll have scabbards again and the items from Meditate Anywhere.
The items are in English only, so you'll have them in the inventory as Q_item if you use another language. If it bothers you, It's something you can fix, as I suggested to a user below here.
Using the D'jinni editor, I opened the .uti files, renamed the item names (I renamed them in the General Name (Russian) section), saved the changes. I went into the game and nothing changed, it shows in the description "Q_item. Help!
I'm glad the issue with Scabbard Mod has been dealt with, enjoy. Hmm, about the items' names... Check once again if you certainly saved the files you changed in D'jinni. And make sure the changed files replaced the original three .uti ones in Override/Meditate Anywhere. It should be working, don't worry.
Uninstalling the mod completely and reinstalling again with the translated files in the folder, without Scabbard Mod present at the time - it may be necessary if it doesn't work after you correctly saved the files and replaced them before.
I Copied the files onto the data file, the mod isn't working. I also tried just putting the files there, without the folder, it also didnt work. Any suggestions?
Have you read the included readme file? That's the first suggestion. You probably had the REMOVE ITEMS folder included. The second suggestion: that subfolder is only needed when you want to remove the mod. I could tell more, but I highly encourage to read the readme at least once. If you do read it and you'll still be having the issue - I'll gladly help further.
There can be also an issue with languages: scroll down and you'll see another user had such problem, because by default the mod is localised in English only. But as I suggested to that user, it's something anyone can simply fix.
There must be an issue with the translation from English to Polish as I can't seem to replicate it on the English version, but I will look into this and are you using any other mods bro?
I temporarily removed all my mods and took only yours and the problem still persists, and when I change to the English version, the names are normal, so it's probably not the mods' fault
@Jaskierrrr The problem is only that the .uti files, (cvision, storage, meditation) don't have the names in any other language than English. And if an item's name isn't translated, its name doesn't show up correctly in the inventory, it's going to be "Q_item" you mentioned.
You can fix it by yourself, it's very easy: make sure you have D'jinni editor in your game, open it, in the left upper corner press File/Open/find the .uti files from this mod in your Override and open them. On your right, a window'll show up.
Under "General", there's Name line: click on it, choose the language you're interested in, write the translated name, then press File again in the left upper corner, press "save ...uti) and it's done. The next time you load the game, the items will be in your inventory with their names in your language.
