Hello mate, all works fine. there are a couple of things though. choosing style of a sword, it'd be good to reflect the layout of the game screen in the left top area. no a couple, just this one. thank you for this great stuff
It's all bugged, the defect starts at the beginning of the game when I use the right analog to start a new game it simply doesn't open, in the gameplay the white wolf walks normally and the camera is ok, but every action I do the camera pulls down, I can't even have a good fight, it's simply frustrating, I've asked for my time.
It is not bugged. First, the right analog stick is simply the mouse. It doesn't open anything. You move it to a location and you left click with the (R1 on Playstation and Right Bumper on XBOX) button. By the sound of it you are pressing the Take All button. Stop doing that. Use the correct keys and everything will be fine.
Requires JoyToKey version 7.0.0 or higher Download your controller type Move the preferred resolution to the JoyToKey folder located in Documents The JoyToKey program must remain open while playing the game Open TheWitcher game and select Options Under Controls change High ISO from F1 to F4 Enjoy the ggame
It looks very useful. I can't make it work though. When I test it on desktop it work, like mouse movements etc. In the game there is no reaction whatsoever. Should I set something in the game?
Everything works fine. Simply I should run JTK as administrator. Thank you. BTW, as we know, the Witcher 1 wasn't design to be played with a gamepad so how do you aim precisely to an enemy if the camera cursor moves so rapidly? Relatively rapidly, I mean, because aiming static targets, like plants etc, is quite easy.
I found the speed to be comfortable but you can possibly change the mouse sensitivity somewhere in Options in the game or in the JoyToKey profile by opening each of the four Stick2 options and lower the Speed slider. Is your issue in the Top Down perspective or Over The Shoulder? It occurred to me that I didn't play it in the Top Down other than testing so the mouse may be too fast. I played the entire game with the gamepad in Over The Shoulder. On a side note, I will be uploading a gamepad for The Witcher 2 within a day or two and I hope you consider downloading it as well. Please endorse.
I don't have time for playing recently, a lot of outstanding work after that Christmas break. I'll let you know when I get back to the game. I play only OTS, btw. There are a couple of things I have noticed, It's really hard for me to change the habit of using A button for actions. Tapping A causes Geralt to move strangely, but I'm still testing. Take care mate🖖 Edit: Another thing is that I'm not much familiar with JoyToKey, maybe I should configure it somehow. For example, attack button works in menu screen (as select click) but doesn't work in game. I think I should spend more time with learning that JTK program first...
Glad to hear it. Personally I found it better having attack on the shoulder button and cast sign on the trigger buttons. That way my thumb could control the analog stick. Having it on the pas means releasing control. I already had to do that enough switching between fast, strong, and group attack. With those on the shoulder right next to each other it's a simple move between the two with the index finger. But that's up to you. If you want to swap those two then copy one of them by right clicking either, select the third option, then scroll to a blank spot lower on the screen. Scroll back up to the other, copy it, then right click on the first one you copied and select the fourth option to paste. Scroll back down, copy that one again and paste it over the second one you copied. They are all labeled, just remember which one needs replaced when when you paste the second one. You can delete the one at the bottom or leave it. Nothing is pointing to it so the controller won't recognize it.
