Confused on the bedroom you mean.  If it's the Kear Morhan bedroom where Witcher 3 starts with the bath scene, the entry way gets collapsed during battle for Kear Morhan.  Which means you better grab it before the battle.  If that's not the bedroom please clarify the room.

Glad I won't have to spend my hard looted money for Viper armor.

    Cool Idea!

Yes, that room. And no, it's still accessible after the battle of Kear Morhen.

Actually, you can't go there after the battle. You'll need Kaer Morhen Armory Rubble Removed for that.

Weird, i don't have that mod yet i have no "rubble" in my game 🤔 probably have something else messing with that and that induce me in error. Thanks for your insight!

Is that rubble the one  mentioned by Vesemir during the battle briefing you can choose to remove?

That rubble cames after the battle, Vesemir is talking about something else.
Edit: Sorry i was wrong, yes it's the armory rubble Vesemir mention during the battle briefing. I was really confused with that rubble stuff : I always choose to removed them and think it was just a gameplay choice unlocking a unique sword since the place doesn't really look like an armory. Besides, it's a bit weird that the rubble isn't there before that game event, then magically appear when you find Ciri and return to KM for the battle. So Scout's mod is a must now for me.

      I see.

I saw a mod about restoring KM castle to its former glory. I'll try that one after the battle (I'm on NG+).

It's a shame we don't get much time with Vesemir in-game. Quests like Berengar's Sword and that one encounter with an old woman at Borsodi's auctions house doesn't do nearly enough justice to him, his lore, value.

Honestly I also wish we had a "Corvo Bianco" version for the Kaer Morhen fortress, but in-game (in a way it would be impossible to do without exploring/earning every penny), as a last sense of purpose considering the fact that they leave us lost, alone inside the castle hearing the lonely and cold melody of the wind after the main history.

So after some time thinking about that rubble thing : Kaer Morhen Armory Rubble Removed from Scout's does a great job to hidde them, but i didn't like the idea to have a requierment mod to access to the stand at any-time in the game. So i build up an identical feature with another methode to achieve the same result. However, Scout's mod can still be use alongside for it's nice extra feature.

I find it absurd that the armor from the School of the Viper is identical to the starting armor. There is a mod that tries to solve this issue by changing the appearance of this armor to resemble Letho's, but I think it looks horrible.

An idea occurred to me to justify the similarity between both armors: since Gaunter O'Dimm met Geralt while he was wearing the starting armor and later mentions that he could help him obtain quality equipment, perhaps it would be a good idea to create a mod that turns the Viper School armor into a reward from O'Dimm.

For example, the armor could also be found in the same way that the swords are found. This makes sense because it could be argued that O'Dimm made that armor identical to Geralt's starting armor since it is specifically made for him.

Additionally, given that O'Dimm is supposed to be none other than The Devil, it would be more of a subtle revelation of his identity to Geralt to have crafted such armor belonging to the School of the Viper. Please consider making this suggestion a reality.

Yeah i agree, giving this armor the same model than the Kaer Morhen one is a weird design choice imo. It deserve it's own model. I would be very interested to know what motivate that choice in the first place.

About your idea : it could've make sense if that was a proper choice to make when you decide the fate of Olgierd and the reward you get from Gaunter. While creating a new choice line associated with a reward is relatively easy to do, the voice acting arround it isn't. But even if it was, the armor is called Viper Armor not Devil Armor or something. Unless Gaunter was the founder of the School of the Viper, it doesn't make much sense to me to get it from him an not from a former member of the said witcher school.

I'll try to better explain my reasoning for having O'Dimm reward Geralt with armor from the Viper School: The devil is a mythological character from Judeo-Christian religion strongly associated with the serpent. Thus, O'Dimm deciding to create armor for Geralt belonging to the Viper School—rather than any other school—could be seen as an ironic way for O'Dimm to hint to Geralt who he really is.As for the way O'Dimm rewards Geralt with this armor, I only suggested an idea, but you've already proven yourself to be quite creative in justifying how and why equipment for Geralt can end up being a reward at some point. I'm sure you could do a better job than I can in that regard.Anyway, I hope I've better explained myself this time and can persuade you.

I get your idea, but sorry it just doesn't tick to me. Again, for me this armor can only be rewarded by an actual member of the Viper School, and the only one in game is Letho. But don't let your idea down : after all, we modder all started modding with idea that we want to make real 😁

Hi. I've installed both this and manticore gear mod, but I'm getting a small issue. During the early part of the battle of kaer morhen (when you just teleport to KM with ciri), before starting the war counsel, I head upstairs to see if the viper gear is there. It was. However, after looting the armour from the stand, the armour stand wouldn't let me interact it with it to display anything else. The prompt appears, but pressing the interact buton doesn't do anything. Same with the manticore stand. This doesn't happen before this point (the manticore stand is fully interactable before the viper gear spawns).

I've yet to play to beyond this point and don't know it this persists. But for now, both the stands are broken.

Hi, ok i found what caused the issue : both stand shared the same tag. It's usually perfectly ok for object to share a tag, but in case of armor stand it prevent them to be usable when both are present. It's fixed, thanks for the very precise report !

    This is not retroactive?
My game (heavily modded) crash after quest with Leho in Velen.

If Letho did go to KM in your current save, even if you're far beyond the battle, you'll see the armor stand. So yeah kinda retroactive. I've no issue on my end with Letho's quest.

Since there is a very small hard cap to the amount of DLC mods you can run on witcher 3, I'd love it if you made a all in one mod pack for all your rewards

I feel a ton of people that love one of them like me would just love all of them,no reason to necessitate 8 different DLC...

Working on it actually. Should be ready soon.
But their is no "hard cap to the amount of DLC". They do however contribute to the mod limit.

Each dlc mod hits toward the soft cap. Whereas mod only mods don't impact the cap when they don't have script sometimes.

So overall dlc tend to be much worst.

I'm at 274 mods right now and had to merge all my dlc together to add more lol (the old dlc mod merge fix).

Thanks mate looking forward to the pack

So there's 2 copies of the viper armor now, correct? One from the schematics/vault and one via Letho. Any differences between the two? In levels, for example?

No. The schematics are, well, schematics. Letho give you the crafted items. The stats of those items aren't changed.
Up to you if you want to use the schematics to craft the gear early or wait until you go to Kaer Morhen.
