Makes any Cloaks/Capes/Hoods/Masks etc from almost any mod toggle-able.
Made for Hoods, but should work with any other mod that adds cloaks/capes/hoods/masks to the game.

But doesn't require this or any other specific cloaks/capes/hoods/masks mod, it should add toggle functionality literally to any such mod.
LATEST 4.04 NEXT-GEN compatible only!
What it does?
It enables you to toggle your cape/cloak/hood/mask etc whenever you want by a press of a button (0 key by default, but could be changed to anything).
You can also hold left stick on the controller.
THIS MOD DOES NOT ADD ANY CLOAKS/CAPES/HOODS/MASKS TO THE GAME.
And then obtain desired vanity item, let's say - Killing Monsters Cloak.
With the hoods mod it will be in stock at Griffon Merchant (Bram at White Orchard).
Then you will be able to wear/unwear it anytime.
!!! But keep in mind, that for the first time you must wear desired cloak/cape from the inventory.
Persistent cloaks
Mod will remember what cloak/cape/hood/mask etc you was wearing, so even after game restart - you still be able to wear your last used cloak.
That means cloaks are persistent between game sessions and even between game saves.
No need to open inventory every time.
Working Dyes
What mod also does, is allows for Dyes to work.
For example, with the Hoods mod you can paint some cloaks/capes/hoods/masks in any color.
And between toggles (wear/unwear cloak states), applied dye will be preserved.
Afaik, no other mod does this.
Or at least I don't know of their existence.
Fist fight minigame
Mod will automatically unequip any cloak/cape/hood/mask when fist fight minigame begins.
But you can disable auto-unequip in mod menu, if you wish to fight in a cape like a super hero lmao xD
Again, afaik no other mod does this.
Barber visits
Mod will automatically unequip any cloak/cape/hood/mask when you visit barber.
Also it will auto-equip cloak after you leave the barber.
You can disable auto-unequip in mod menu.
Animations
Everytime witcher wear/unwear any vanity item, proper animation will be triggered.
There's two different animations for cloaks and for hoods.
But this is optional and can be turned on/off in mod menu.
Auto-equip during bad weather
What this mod also does, is allows for automatically equip cloaks/capes/scarfs etc during bad weather.
That includes Rain, Storm, Snow, and even cold regions.
But keep in mind, that this is optional and should be turned on in mod menu.
Auto-unequip in certain conditions
This mod allows for automatically unequip cloaks/capes/scarfs etc. during certain conditions.
Such as: in cutscenes, in combat, while swimming, in interiors.
Additionally you can enable auto-equip back option, so i.e. when a cutscene ends, cloak/cape/scarf etc. will be equipped back on.
Toggle anything (cloaks/hoods/masks)
As I said, this mod was made with Hoods in mind.
What that means, is that now you can toggle not only capes/cloaks, but the hoods/hats/scarfs/masks etc as well.

By default only cloaks/capes are toggle-able.
In mod menu you can also enable hoods/scarfs/etc to be toggle-able too.
Toggleable hoods functionality also comes with the Hoods mod (hoods that can be lowered, i.e. attached to cloaks/capes).
My mod provides only hide/show functionality of desired vanity items.
So for the best experience you wanna use em both (my mod + hoods).
Recommendations
To get the best experience, combine this mod with Swords On Hip When Cloaked, Accessory Slot Mod and Cheap dyes everywhere.
Personally, I use MQS+QI+BRM instead of ASM.

Compatibility
This mod is compatible with almost any other mods, including Complete Animations Redux and SCAAR.
As well as with most mods like the Hoods.

Installation/Updating
1) Unpack 📁mod_hoodsSwitchableCloak folder into your 📁Mods folder
2) Copy-paste the content of mod_hoodsSwitchableCloak/SwitchableCloak.input.settings at the top of your Documents\The Witcher 3\input.settings file
3) (Optional) Copy 📁mod_hoodsSwitchableCloak/bin folder to your game root directory
And then use Menu Filelist Updater or manually add new .xml to your dx11/dx12 txt list
4) Use a Script Merger or Script Merger FAE, just to be sure there are no conflicts with other mods
5) That's it!
!!! IMPORTANT: If updating from previous versions, first completely remove 📁mod_hoodsSwitchableCloak folder
And don't forget to update menu file in 📁bin folder, as well.
