Greetings once again fellow Witchers! For those that use my Quest Cutscene Lighting Edits. I have posted a quest cutscene lighting fixes only version. This is my recommended version to use with this fantastic lighting mod.

Is there a way to make nights slightly darker with this mod? @bonedoctor21

also, is this mod compatible with realistic weather 4? and if so what load order?

I don’t know if this is a bug, but if you set the gamma too high in the game settings, a layered, misty outline will appear in dark areas.

Hello, may I ask if this mod will conflict with VGX Burning Village Cutscene? Because when I use these two mods together, the Burning Village cutscene animation becomes very bright.

Hello, can you please tell me if the Toussaint region will be affected in future updates of your mod? Since I like your mod a lot and I would like ( if it is possible ) to see the changed lighting in Toussaint too.

If you fall in love with a beautiful picture, you will see screenshots! As a result, it's unplayable for me, everything is gray-orange and everywhere, there are no color differences, everything is GRAY and ORANGE, I was walking from the White Garden in Novigrad, giving myself a chance to "what if", If you like Orange, this mod is yours.

I approved it myself because I liked everything at first, but then it started to be all monotonous, yes it's beautiful, but it's all monotonous. I don't understand why people don't see it.

Maybe you should check for mod conflicts or test some reshades.
I've tested a couple of other lighting mods including Grim Lighting Revived since STLM drove me to the edge with save loading crashing constantly and boy, I can definitely tell you the overall experience of the lighting in the game has improved drastically after switching to this mod. I use it with PATHOS reshade and it gives me the result I was looking for - good weather actually looks nice and bright now while storms, rains and fogs give that dark, grim feeling.

I'm not saying that the mod is bad at all, I've put it myself several times to compare with others in certain places and it looks great. But orange is everywhere, it's just everywhere, day and night. The mod itself is good, but there is no color transition at all. It's like autumn has come to the Witcher.

You have no idea what are you talking about. arguing on its color base and even claiming there is no color transition is copmpletely nonsense. you have never been and likely will never see any better color balance and transition, ever.

its clearly not for your taste. not saying that its bad  does not make you criticise it properly. the efforts on justifying you is pointless.
what are you telling is pretty much disrespecting to the preferences, art choices of the author. your approach is not right. there is really long term and hard work behind this project. achieving this result was not easy.

the mod provides quality, unique experience. of course there will be similiar color toned places just because the design choices, making the light and weather transitions easier  & consistent. consistency , balance and visual fidelity is the key for the mod. and it brings them all.

however, claiming on it "it's all  monotonous" is also pointless. the real life itself consist of all the experiences, repetitive routines . are you seriously complain about the irl stuff too? if yes, you either not enjoying the life and gaming.
its not a consructive criticism. these arguments make you look like a hater.

I just expressed my point of view! And yes, I continue to play on this modification, I don't know for which place you were stung there, but I have nothing against this lighting at all.

@johannferkakt , this mod is not supposed to provide any lush, greener grass, vivid colors, colorful atmosphere. there are some mods for it , including better VL.  not sure if you understand what you read on the description. have you even read it carefully?
it replicates the pre release art design of the game in the mostly, which was gritty and dark theme. there are plenty of green foliage places like in white orchard, kaer morhen and skellige. so your statement is wrong.

do you even have any idea, info about lore of velen for instance? its described as no man's land, consist of marshlands, dry grasses, dark and unforgiven swamp places. surrounded by evil and sadness. for this perspective, the Promo lm does it just right. same perspective about the pre release art style.

if its not for you, then you have other options to choose from.

      Well, for me works well.
The "monotonous" tone fits with the atmosphere of war and desolation in a middle age setting, the Witcher world is not something beautifull, is something depressive, a harsh reality with war, monsters, greed, prejudice, and many other things.

Everything colorfull not fits with that setting, places like Velen and Novigrad obviously are depressing, and should be, you see that in earlier trailers of the game that they took the same approach of the mod author, they changed it because performance at that time.

But as BoneDoctor21 said very well, if is not your taste, use other mods or play vanilla, your criticism don't look like a wise criticism, looks like trolling or mindless nitpick, you not feel the nuance, the idea of the mod itself, the ATMOSPHERE it proposes.
