Hello! And how to change the scripts so that DoT is applied to Geralt from the blows of opponents, ignoring the basic Quen?

No idea. Moved to Ghost Mode and then later to W3EE ages ago. Consider one of those.

Great mod, still needed tbh. I use it with enemy damage/health x5, signs tweak and random encounters... it really brings the game alive when you're OP.
Working with GOG 1.31. Thanks for the mod, man.

Hey, first of all, thanks for the mod.
Loving it so far UNTIL I got to the Gargoyle-Miniboss during "Wandering in the Dark"-Quest (Death March-Difficulty, Level 7). It was nearly impossible for me to kill him with this Mod activated, since the fight kinda seemed to be balanced around the idea, that you keep your Quen up to tank all the hits. And it's so tight in the cave that rarely I got to roll out of the way, when he stomped the ground again.

Here's what I would change to balance this mod (I'd do it myself, but I don't know how):
    - Quen-Shield takes 2 hits to deplete (so far, so good)
    - First hit absorbs 60% of the damage
    - 2nd hit absorbs 40% of the damage

This way you'd actually had some decision-making: do I refresh my Quen in orter to tank the next hit, or do I rely on the remaining 40%-reduction and instead use my Stamina for another Sign?

Thanks for consideration, and keep up the good work.

Sorry, but I do not update this mod anymore. I changed to Ghost Mode which is really all that I want for Witcher 3. I cannot praise it enough.

Is there a way to tweak Quen so that it no longer completely negates one attack? In vanilla, when you take a massive hit with a weak Quen shield, the shield breaks, but tanks the entirety of the damage. It'd be cool if Quen only blocked damage equal to the health of the Quen shield, and you still took the overflow damage.

This mod should do exactly that. I know I am damaged when I'm up against a heavy hitter even with Quen on

I believe what he's asking if for quen to only absorb the dmg shown in your character screen when you hover over your signs. So if it shows quen will absorb 500 dmg, and you take a 2000 dmg hit, you take 1500 dmg. This mod, as I understand from the description, just makes it so quen will absorb 50% dmg, so if you get hit by a 2000k dmg hit, you take 1000k dmg.

I'd also prefer if quen only absorbs the max amount shown. It would make more sense and actually make quen sign intensity mean something.

Not exactly. The damage to Quen is halved, but any surpassing are delivered to your vitality. My modding skills are not very good, so the minor tweaks are the only way I know how to increase how much Quen absorbs and I cannot make it appear in the character stats either. I myself use Ghost Mode at the moment and don't even use this mod anymore. But update it because a few might
