next gen updated version, after installing - unequip & equip Acquired tolerance to get bonuses from existing dyes recipes, previous one is kinda buggy, edited previous post to point to new archive.
Sorry if I am being dumb! Trying to follow your download link for the next gen version of the Mod but it seems to download a file for unique mutagens overhaul? Not sure if I am doing something wrong.
Okay, so it works but partially as they did something really weird to bundled scripts, so like while you have your Acquired Tolerance equipped and learn a dye recipe - it will add up for max toxicity but then when you unequip it/change level of equipped Acquired Tolerance skill it removes bonuses from dyes, and it also removes 1 toxicity for each recipe learned, instead of 0.5 as it gives in 4.0.3, so like, as long as u are not planning to unequip skill - you can use this mod. In case if u alrdy have any dye recipes - it won't give u any bonuses as for some weird reason toxicity only adds up when you learn new dye recipes, even though I applied all the same conditions to functions like to skillLevelChange/SkillEquip/SkillUnequip/learnAlchemyRecipes, none of the other places in game content use that skill parameter - it still goes in this weird way =)
So the way could be as follows: 1) Install mod, get all dye recipes while not unequipping skill, don't unequip ur acquired tolerance ever =) 2) if u already have any dye recipes - you can install this mod(or it's nextgen version), use forgetr('recipe name') command for your recipes, then install this mod, use additem('recipe name') to readd your removed recipes with this mod & Ackquired Tolerance used and proceed with gathering them =) 3) Simply remove all ur recipes using forgetr command from this mod(or it's nextgen version), install this mod, add all dye recipes with additem.
I know the mod author does not make/update mods for Next-Gen, but is there anyone able to make this mod work again? I don't know how to contact wghost81, which is the other contributor of this mod who actually does make recent Next-Gen mods. none100p did claim to made a Next-Gen version in the comments below but their file does not work and it seems to be another mod entirely. If anyone could help, I would gladly appreciate it <3
Not the best place to ask about this , but since i couldnt find any other thread here it goes. I m currently at 329 toxicity with manticore set , aquired tolerance (no dyes) and the +30 skill. Is there something missing , can it go higher?
Pre-patch 1.31 my toxicity was 314 with Acquired Tolerance (all alchemy formulae learnt including 12 dyes as well as some random Quest related formulae), +30 skill and Manticore boots +5. So with full Manticore +30 that would be 339. With full Legendary Manticore that would be 344.
Post patch 1.31 without this mod appoximately subtract 15 points for 12 dyes formulae as well as the quest formulae. So with full Manticore approx 324. With full New Game+ Legendary Manticore +35 that would be 329. Not sure if you can get higher than that. 350 toxicity would be nice to have 5 decoctions at once.
I have 4 quest formulas, without them i m at 325 with standard manticore, 330 with ng+ manticore , 342 with your awsome mod and 346 with the quests again.
Its 4 points short and its driving me insane, i m looking everywhere for a guide to all possible quest formulas but unfortunatelly there is no such thing !!
I can't confirm as I don't have GOTY edition, I'm on patch 1.30. However according to this http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1957/ the files from this mod are not on the list so it should work. Let me know if it works either way.
I've tested and it works only when you learn a new dye recipe, the ones I had before the mod didn't raise the maximum toxicity after I installed it. Also, if you remove the mod after learning new dye recipes the toxicity maximum level doesn't go back to normal.
Did you try unequipping and re-equipping Acquired Tolerance skill after mod install? My toxicity wouldn't raise until I did this. It should also go back to normal if you do the same after mod removal.
Edit: Also remember to delete any existing merged scripts you have that affect either playerWitcher.ws or PlayerAbilityManager.ws files, add the mod, then re-merge scripts. Repeat the process for mod removal. Script Merger makes this process a bit easier.
