I like the look of this. Will have to apply it for the playthrough I've just started. I've been bothered by the same issue.
Assuming this isn't applied too broadly (after all, there are quite a few ex-Temerian soldiers who *are* bandits), I don't personally think this to be unrealistic at all, especially for Roche's group.
Anybody who likes this would probably be interested in another mod I just discovered, the Faction Appearance Project
Is it possible for you, to make all the Redanian-Soldiers (like the ones in Oxenfurt and Novigrad) to look like the Temerians from your Mod? I'm asking for a kind of late-game. After completing the main game, I'm still in Velen for the HoS DLC. And technically, the Redanian Army is defeated and Temeria becomes a vasall of Nilfgard. (At least for me, because I've killed Radovid in the Reason Of State Quest before)
It would add to the Immersion, that's why I'm asking. Nice Mod by the way :)
Thanks for the mod! Is it possible to vary the soldiers in the partisan camp like soldiers in the second screenshot? Some with open/closed sallet helms & different kettle helms? it would look even better i think!
They are not temerian soldiers. They are ex-special forces. Unit called "Blue Stripes", they are commandos. This is Roche's people. If you played the second game you should understand that this mod is stupid. Well... sorry, i mean pointless. No offence, good work and all, but you get something wrong from the game.
Roche recruited new people. They are his unit not just random temerian soldiers. If they weren't Blue Stripes they were wear different clothes and armor.
The game explicitely states (told by Roche and it's on the character's glossary) that the Blue Stripes are no more and those men are the remnants of the Temerian army.
Yeah i know that Henselt hanged all of Roche's people. They were his unit. But why did Roche equipped these new one guys with blue clothes? They were remainings of temerian army. And become new recruits of Vernon's crew. They aren't technically the old Blue Stripes that were killed. And they ARE technically temerian soldiers. But for the moment when Geralt meet Roche they are new Vernon's band. He is their commander. And they are guerillas, scouts, not just infantry to wear armor like in your mod.
jesus christ if you think this mod is pointless why are you in here bitching and moaning like a little kid. Its simple, if you do not like it don't use it.

Hoping there will be a wearable version :)
Althou i respect the work the modder did, and i thank him for sharing, i think it's sort of pointless too...
