I tried it now (Instructions: find the mod's focus.ws file and open it with a text editing program such as Notepad++, and replace SetFadeParameters( 10.0, 30.0f, 0.5f, 2.5f ); with SetFadeParameters( 10.0, 30.0f, 3.0f, 7.0f ); and re-run the WitcherScriptMerger just in case, and you are set) and indeed the effect is perfectly smooth now. Strangely enough, this recommendation also fixed a minor stutter with my camera each time the effect was sharply disappearing.
I'm not installing the game again just to update this mod, unless someone sends me the vanilla focus.ws file as I've said before, nothing will get patched.
Friendly Focus, even the Next Gen updated version, conflicts with way too many of my other mods. I hope you'll consider adding a version that removes the dimming of the Witcher Sense. Preferably, together with the Instant Witcher Senses - Clues and Jump version. I'm hoping if it's just that one extra thing, it'll be easier to merge with anything it may conflict with.
Use Winmerge to merge mods. After installing, select 2 folders of conflicting mods, right click and select winmerge

Browse for the conflicting file and open it, find highlighted conflicting lines, right click, copy left to right or right to left with the changes you want until both files match. Save the file in winmerge.
Fantastic mod. I always found it so immersion breaking how those ugly glowing outlines linger during cutscenes. The mod has a problem that's not an issue for me. The Cat Eyes mutation will make the cat eye effect permanent. Even if you change to a different mutation or fast travel. You have to go back to an earlier save to fix it. Not a big deal since that mutation is s#*! anyway. Just thought I'd mention it.
There's a very noticably "jump" in visuals after letting go of witcher sense... not smooth in the slightest. What is causing this? Is this just the effect of the mod? Is there anything I can adjust to make it a bit "smoother"?
in the description there's a spoiler with the value you need to edit, you can try the older version values if u want. just edit focus.ws with a text editor.
