Version 0.8 is released with a lot of overall stability and compatibility improvements.

Please see the changelog for details.

This is the first release that also supports Steam Proton installations on Linux, check out the GitHub repo if that's relevant for you.

This will also be the last "big" update for The Witcher 3 Mod Manager from me. Big thanks to stefan3372 for creating this tool and thank you all for the support!

About the "Priority", how does it work, like, i set it 1, 2 and 3. Does the highest number is comes first or number 1 has the highest priority.
And somehow my mod manager only have run dx11

Does the highest number is comes first or number 1 has the highest priority.
Both say the same thing... but yes:
      Lower Number == Higher Priority

However, the game handle priority in alphabetical order, so you don't have to assign priority in most case.
It is also not recommended to put priority number to all mods, nor in a small number. I recommend you put a step of 10, 20, 30,...

You mean uninstall mods mid playthrough? Some yes, some no. My understanding is, it's not safe to remove Quest mods mid playthrough, like W3QE or DLC - Events.
Or add mods mid playthrough? I've had no issues adding mods mid playthrough.

Just make sure to read the description of the mod you want before installing. Make sure it's compatible with the version you're playing.

That's my newbie take. Hope that helps.

      It will instantly change.
But as BrotherGrok said, that depend on the mod. Some may not work if installed in middle, and some cannot be uninstalled.
You should read their description if they put some warning.

My mods are no longer showing up on the mod list. There were there this morning before work but not now... I haven't made any changes since then. What happened here?

The tool was reset. But don't worry, you didn't lose all mods, and you can still set priority on the right list.

    Very nice mod, handy. ty.

On any mod when I click mod manager download. Nothing happens.
I have to manual download. Then drag mod into manager. Work well from there.

Is there a way to get the mmd to work??

NexusMods' "Mod Manager Download" feature is used for Vortex, not for 3rd-party mod managers such as this one.

      oh ty

UPDATE: I figured it out. I disabled all. Then enabled one by one till I got the culprit.
      --------------------------------------
      A problem has developed.

I tried installing a mod but it wouldnt. Closed without save. Uninstalled mod.
Ran script merger, showed no conflicts. Ran game and this happened when game loaded scripts:

Error [content0]game\gui\popups\itemselectionpopup.ws(107): 'checkTagsOR' is not a member of '&handle:W3GuiSelectItemComponent'
Error [content0]game\gui\popups\itemselectionpopup.ws(117): 'checkTagsOR' is not a member of '&handle:W3GuiSelectItemComponent'
Error [content0]game\gui\popups\itemselectionpopup.ws(135): 'checkTagsOR' is not a member of '&handle:W3GuiSelectItemComponent'

Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(32): Global native function 'EnableDebugPostProcess' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\showflags.ws(11): Global native function 'DebugSetEShowFlag' was not exported from C++ code.

      How to fix this??

i have come to the belief that the script merger is a total pile of dog shite it usually causes more problems then it fixes and it never catches all the problems also all the tutorials never really explain how to use it. like why do i need 4 years of coding experience to mod a 10+ ear old game when i don't for every other game i own.

Modding aren't easy. You have to learn how to mod the game before you mod the game.
Some errors and problem you see on various post are mostly due to user's mistake.

burduli, not totally true. MO2 is a third party mod manager, yet has support for the download with manager button. It's stupid that this one doesn't.

    Dear All,

I recently installed the Gervant First Person Mod for the game (I am on the latest version of the game at date). I ran script manager and resolved all conflicts. Now, when I run the game via Mod Manager I get the following error (btw, I launch the game in dx12).

    Installing GFP NoDouble Tap ToDodge
    Installing GFP Parry Senses
    Installing GFP Responsive Walk Toggle
    Installing GFP Run OnBoat
    Installing GFP Shadows
    Installing GFP Shadows Torch
    Installing GFP Slide
    Installing GFP Strafe
    Installing GFP Sword Hint
    > Installed 22 mods or dlcs (0 errors)
[WinError 740] The requested operation requires elevation

Any idea how to fix this? I'm still a noob (but trying to learn from more experienced users).

Thanks in advance for any feedback that can help me.

NEVER MIND: I got it working - Had to run Mod Manager as Administrator
