Is it possible to remove the ring around Geralt when it's raining? I've always thought someone would try and make that one day but I've never seen it attempted on any mod on Nexus.
Here's a mod with more snow particles, better snow and rain textures, and better snow and rain meshes - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XWVfn_vaIlo7yLvfjp0iqbknZoiTxD0J/view?usp=sharing . I was very liberal on snow particles, might be too much?
Did anyone in this thread figure out how to use the merge files from this google drive? A bit confusing...I'm assuming the texture merge is related to the snow and rain? But I have no idea what the other 3 entail, one is titled 'buffer' though.. And how would one go using these? I tried repacking as rar and that didn't work in mod manager... Should I just throw the merge file in the merge folder within the mod directory with the other WS files? I have no idea what type of file these are either..anyhow, figured I'd ask, thanks
Just need to delete the "-merged" at the end of each filename. A correct mod folder should have the following structure, which should be placed in the ~\The Witcher 3\mods :
However, when I used this mod shared by kedautinh12 I still lost nearly half of fps in snowy days, though the snow do look amazing. So take your risks, my friend.
For some reason, not all angles have rain. For example. If Geralt is talking to the NPC. The NPC has rain pouring down on him, then when it switches to Geralt, Rain is nowhere to be seen.
Same with other locations. If I turn my camera to the right it has rain, but if I went to the left, there's nothing on it.
Shame, since the dense rain actually looks amazing when it works.
I think this might be a vanilla bug. Go into settings, turn down water quality and it'll be fixed, you can then turn it back to max if you want. It does this sometimes.

Any fix on this?
