Hello, first of all thank you for this mod! I´m currently modding my next gen version and have a question. I so far only installed
- shared imports - Witcher 3 ee Redux - Brothers in arms (and of course the compatibility patch) - Gwent Redux
when installing bia and merging it with w3ee redux the instructions told me (among others) not to merge playerwitcher.ws. But there seems to be conflic with Gwent Redux. So far I only merged those scripts which you instructed to do (except playerwitcher.ws since I shouldn´t merge them because of bia and w3ee redux). everything seems to be working fine. The mod menu is there, I played a gwent game and it was all good. But still I´m wondering if I can leave it like this or if it´s forseeable that I will encounter issues with unresolved scripts. hope you can help me out!
Tight bonds nerf is depressing 3 reavers, 2 bluestripes, trebuchets still 8, but are not even tight bonds anymore. Sad. Gwent is still very easy, maybe even easier than vanilla, but less satisfying without stacking, because Scorch is way too common. Every enemy seems to have 1-3 scorch cards, it's so hard to not encounter them and they're extremely annoying because Scorch is like #1 anti-fun mechanic that deletes cards and synergies, It's like you FINALLY get a good hand with synergies only to see your cards scorched last round. no words can describe how much I detest this
This mod is so amazing in concept, but I wish there was a rebalance of npc decks. Every single merchant and bartender I face has every single hero card in the deck they play. Besides the difficulty, it also makes those cards (which are not easyy to aquire for the player) feel a lot less special. I did use console commands to get a few cards, is this something the game detects and adjusts AI decks to punish?
This. Is. AMAZING!! I've always really enjoyed gwent and this really took it to the next level; refreshed the mini game for my infinitieth playthrough lol. Great work, it's so much fun.
Some cards are parts of a set. Open the mod folder, there is a file with a table and check. If it is the Imper's brigade and something similar, then the merchant will sell them until their limit of 2-3 pieces is reached.
Can I install this mod without DLC and will it work? In requierements there are DLCs but in files I don't see anything that would be needed to insert into dlc files. Is it really a must go requirement? Would somebody know please?
This is not a problem - some cards form sets of 2-3 pieces. Mahakam volunteers, Impera brigade, Vrihed cadets, etc. The file contains a google table with all the cards - the number of these cards is written there. The merchant will sell until the limit of a specific card is filled.
