best mod on the platform by far but can you make it compatible with the black witcher mod please cuz when i have that mod on the gloves don't change color with the armor
I really like the slim gauntlets version, but unfortunately it also removes the little tassles from the armor entirely. Would it be possible to have a version that keep those?
Unfortunately not possible. Those laces are a much more complicated type of 3D model, beyond my time and skill to edit. Deleting them was the only way, as otherwise they would just be floating in the air next to the slimmed gauntlets.
It definitely works. If you put "modShortViperGloves" in your "mods" folder and it didn't take effect, then I'm guessing there might be a conflict with another mod.
Hey, thanks for the reply. I did not see any conflicts when I ran script merger though and it still does not work. I also tried the one mentioned below where you said to use the .rar version but unfortunately it also did not make it work. If you know any other solutions lemme know. Thanks
Depending on how many mods you have installed, one possibility is that you ran into the mod limit. If that's the case, this should fix it. The other possibility is that, if you have other mods installed that affect the Kaer Morhen Armor, Viper Armor and/or their gloves specifically, that's what overrides my mod on your end. Is there any mod that comes to mind for you? Any mod affecting KM/Viper Armors at all?
Mod limit was fixed by CDPR in Next-Gen/4.0+ so there's no need for the linked mod anymore to fix it. If it's still not showing up, you probably have another mod overwriting the glove meshes for this armor, such as Slim Gloves or E3 (Fitting) Boots Pants and Gloves. Give this mod higher priority

I have the original kaer morhen and viper set textures but they worked before. Im trying to get the new short kaer morhen and viper gloves but the only thing that works is the original textures mod. Idk what im doing wrong at this point but i tried installing it manually and vortex and neither works. Changing load order didnt do anything either, none of the three mods show up for me at all anymore not even the gauntlets mod i was using. Any advice?
First off, you could try installing the mod from this file. It's a RAR instead of a ZIP, sometimes that solves the issue. Just unpack it with whatever tool you usually use, install modShortViperGloves manually and use Script Merger to check for conflicts.
Second, if you didn't have these issues before, then my best guess is that it conflicts with one of your other mods. The texture mods are completely fine, but maybe there are other mods you have installed more recently? Using Script Merger might reveal conflicts, but even if it doesn't it may be a good idea to temporarily uninstall any mods that may affect the gauntlets in any way, one by one as process of elimination.

To me the second piece of leather, the bracers, coming out of the glove never made sense. That 'fix' together with your slim glove thingy, is the awesome setup to me.
Personally, I always liked the idea of the bracers adding extra protection and better fit, and the Viper texture looks especially rad. But yeah, I'll upload a short version soon.

These still work great in 4.0+
