Popped this into my Witcher Directory and - works perfectly on my 1.31 game. Thanks marjon679! In fact it picked up the same conflicts the Script Merger had spotted, which I expected. I'm glad I don't have any other hidden conflicts - and I can use this to watch for them as I add other mods. Nice work. Thank you! Back to endorse shortly.
I like this mod (well, program really) very much. Extremely useful. If I can be so bold I do have a few suggestions for improvement.
1. List each conflicted file only once, with associated mods after it. If a file has more than one conflict it can be listed many times. 2. Compare the hash of the files to determine if any actual difference exists (I think somebody else mentioned that.) 3. Have a way to either autodetect the mod directory location or have a config file which allows setting it just once.
I tried it but the GUI made unusable; the Textbox got resized and didn't even show a single line.
So, I wrote my own version in PowerShell (PasteBin; Output sample). If you have the GOG version of the game, then the game directory is looked up, otherwise you'll get prompted (with a GUI).
Hey man, I downloaded this mod in order to try and find out why my Lore-friendly witcher mod wasnt working. The conflict detector launched without a problem, but after I click "check", it shows about 4 mods (I have 7 installed) and then just stops and doesnt give me a result. Please help
@marjon679 Your mod tool is what we all need, unfortunately it does not read the C drive but only D i guess, it looks like you have it programmed to read only the D drive. I installed the latest Java, i run the tool, i set the path i have the mods in my game's folder C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\Mods and when i click the scan button, it says Wrong Path, originaly its always the C drive where everything goes and users are not obliged to make their drive a partition to change their game's directory, its the responsibility of the mod's or tool's autho/creator to make sure his utility works on every drive! Please update your tool so people can use it on C drives too, when its done and works on C drive then i will endorse your mod and kudo you. :D

So now i have to use the script merger to merge modHDGriffin and modSilverSwords mods? By the way, endorsed and kudoed as promised! ;) Edit: I just used the Script Merger and it says that no conflict has been found! I guess it has not to do with scripts but only textures. In that case i think i have to choose and keep one of those mods. :/
*.w2mesh are MODELS, you cant merge them, you should delete modHDGriffin OR modSilverSwords. But game prefer assets from mods with name which is lower in alphabetical order. At this situation you should see model of silver gryphon sword from modHDGriffin and model from modSilverSwords is ignored. If it looks ok in game, then just ignore this problem.
