To use only names and not portraits: 1. delete 3 files from the mod: blob0.bundle, metadata.store, texture.cache OR 2. just give higher priority to other mod's gwint_game.redswf
this is not a modification of game files, but compile from redkit sources tooling to compile is different from what used in 2015, that's why differences in font
but yeah, 1 pixel font thickness difference is indeed disappointing, f*#@ this mod
Please check Script Merger every times you install/update/remove mods so you merge all scripts and check conflict in the "Not Mergeable" list. This is likely because one mod conflict to it.
There was no script conflict, it was because the smooth gui had a higher priority than this mod, when I gave priority to this mod it was already working as it should, but of course, gwent was running at a low framerate
Hi, @crthdr,, thank you for this amazing mod. if you don't mind my question i use Gwent Improvements - Ultima with ee redux NG, with script merger i did not see any gwint_game.redswf does it mean that it will work without issues ? plz let me know.
Hello! Is this mod compatible with 60 FPS Gui for the classic version? I have it installed along with its Gwent Default Speed adaptation. Just wondering if it's even necessary.
Works with Gwent mods too (with some minor limitations)
with Gwent Redux it will show "Opponent" for Fergus, Yoanna and B&W tournament participants otherwise OK version 2.0 not compatible with mods gwent mods
Gwent Redux has its own swf file, not giving priority to Gwent Redux is most likely unsafe If this is not Gwent Redux on screenshots then make sure you have no conflict on .redswf in Script Merger no confict = compatible
looks like you are right it is not compatible i noticed that when i give a spy card instead of giving me back one card it gives me back two cards do you know which function i need to fix?
I did read it of course, but i have no intention using only the names and the portraits, why would i? I dont understand how i was rude, english is not my first language, maybe there is a misunderstanding. Here where i live we are telling it if we have found a problem so we can solve it, if you do not speak about it you cannot solve it.

That's very true. However, the way you say doesn't tell the problem but rather a "don't use this mod" comment. When sharing a problem, you have to diagnosis before by telling what's the symptom and what you did.
Gwent Opponent Names can only give the name opponent if there are conflict in the bundled non text, and putting in higher priority is not recommended. So, we recommend you put Upscaled Gwent in higher priority, you won't get the portrait but you'll get the names like in the old version.
I was mainly using Gwent Redux mod, I gave high priority to the compatibility patch with Smooth GUI, now I gave this high priority to your mod, I saw everything working, it would be great if this mod was compatible with Smooth GUI, but thanks for this mod :)

This is likely because one mod conflict to it.
mod's texture.cache file not accessible somehownormally not possible
doesn't look like mod conflictwhen other mod's .redswf overrides this mod, normal vanilla icon is shown
conflict in Script Merger = not compatible
check out Smooth GUI mod, it has patch for this mod, doesn't matter that it is made for next-gen IN THIS CASE
with Gwent Redux it will show "Opponent" for Fergus, Yoanna and B&W tournament participants
version 2.0 not compatible with mods gwent modsotherwise OK
If this is not Gwent Redux on screenshots then make sure you have no conflict on .redswf in Script Merger
no confict = compatible
Gwent Redux .redswf must have higher priority to work properly, no other way

GR swf probably contains important stuff
