Hi Banjomir, i just wanted to stop by and show my appreciation for the "Refined Blaviken" mesh and textures! I've been using them since it's debut. Recently, i dared to try a new mesh and texture for Geralt... I simply ended up back here, it's that good!
So, thank you for your hard work and creating a menacingly stoic Geralt. Your depiction is spot on!
Hello there Mr Banjo, I think this mod needs to be updated 4.04. If you can and have time to update I would greatly appreciate it. If you don't I understand and thank you for making the to begin with. That blaviken mesh looks really really good.
Most Geralt face/eyes textures or armors have no issues in next gen, some may have bugs or may not work, but i haven't seen that yet. Are you sure it's not working or what's the problem?
Well as you can see here the mesh doesn't load. In my script merger it doesn't conflict with anything else.
I am using no hairworks but that is all I am using and it doesn't work. I tried the blaviken mesh (which is the one I want to use) and the regular refined one and neither loads in for me. So I am not sure what is the problem for me
Well, I really don't know what to tell you. I tested this by downloading the files from the mod page to make absolutely sure we are both using the same ones; they work fine. BTW, the Blaviken mesh is working for you judging by your screenshot.
Then I am sorry and I am just an idiot. I don't think the scar looks like it does in your screenshot of the blaviken mesh. I am sorry for bother you with this and thanks for your great work.
The images for the mod represents 100% what the mod looks like in-game. I know this, because I took the screenshots with the mod enabled. Do you own comparison by installing the mod, take a screenshot, uninstall, take a screenshot in the exact same place and time, then compare. If they look identical, then it means you didn't install it correctly or you have another mod of the same kind taking priority.
Sorry for the late reply. If it is still relevant to you, just leave beard HWs on because non-HW beard clips badly. I have never figured out how to rework beard meshes and I am honestly done trying.
The eyebrows are in a different style from the other mods, look interesting. Also you didn't add the striga scar, which is a bad thing. You have slightly reduced the pinkness of the skin tone but it is still noticeable. Overall, it's a nice mod but not for my taste. But man, Blaviken Mesh is awesome! It has become one of my must-have mods. Endorsed!
My intention with this mod was never to make any changes to Geralt's skin tone or to add the striga scar, so your disappointment in that regard is self-inflicted. Maybe you should make your own mod that ticks all your boxes.
I don't need to do it, there are already many mods on the Nexus that tick all my boxes. I use one of them. As I said, your mod is also very good but it's not for my taste. The main purpose of my comment was to praise Blaviken Mesh. Great work! ^^
Yeah It's keeping me on the texture only version sadly because I'm a big lover of a bearded geralt, that being said this is still LEAGUES above vanilla even the next gen upgrades (which is addmitedly nice). Thanks so much for this work its the best geralt texture on the nexus!
Does this work with the HoS mark? Or is that what the Blaviken Mesh is for? I never understoof what "Blaviken Meshes" were lmfao. I was just wondering if the main version by itself worked with the mark. (same question applies to your other Geralt mods)
If it works with the mark, can you simply explain in toddler terms, what's the point of a Blaviken Mesh, or custom head models?
The main version if of course compatible with HoS. The Blaviken Mesh is a remodel of Geralt's face, which is also compatible with HoS. The only drawback of the mesh is that beards no longer fit on Geralt's new, remodelled jaw. Does that clarify?
So the main versions are pretty much TEXTURE changes for Geralt. But doesn't change MESHES. And the Blaviken Mesh, is exactly that, a full MESH that changes how the FACE IS SCULTED then the textures added onto that new mesh, correct?
Thanks! Yes, those bloody eyebrows take ages to get right. I'm doing it using a mouse, which is just so dumb. Really should invest in one of those digital pens...

EDIT: Yes it is loaded in his screenshot.

But do you have any suggestion for beards that go with new head mesh?
I think I can replicate the look of this geralt on this Witcher 2 cover.
Witcher 2 cover
I was wondering if this mod also includes 4K improvements to the body textures of Geralt, or if it's only the face textures?
Yes, it includes the body textures as well.

Also great job with the eyebrows, they can be painstaking to make.
