Use BUGS sections to report the actual bugs only! Do not post about compilation errors/mod conflicts in the BUGS section!
Compatibility issues and merging questions are also not bugs. If you have questions and can't figure them out by yourself - feel free to ask them at the Ghost Mods Discord server.
DO NOT use vanilla dynamic minimap and quest log feature with this mod - those features are simplified versions of the same features of this mod so naturally they do conflict!
DO NOT use Vortex, players constantly report issues with hotkeys, menus, etc. when using it. Use TW3MM instead.
Please, do not post requests to update my other mods - I am aware and I am working. Here's a google drive folder with all the latest updates - not yet fully tested, so not yet releasing on Nexus to avoid noise in updates.
If the game updates, always check the google drive folder first - I usually try to do quick updates through it.
Reminder to everyone You have to reuse Menu Filelist Updater each time the game got an update, because it runs the "verify files" process, so it revert back all the files in "Bin". That's why "mods" setting disappeared after an update.
I don't understand how pin module modifier works and what that is. Whatever I try with it, nothing happens (all set in files correctly). Maybe it has something to do with the fact none of HOLD-to-see keys doesn't work except hold-to-see essentials. IK_K=(Action=HoldToSeeCharStats) IK_M=(Action=HoldToSeeMap) IK_J=(Action=HoldToSeeQuests) cant make those three work
Also there is something weird going on with minimap toggle. Like, all the essentials are straightforward to disable by toggle - you just turn them off in general HUD settings and turn them on in Friendly HUD. But friendly hud doesn't consider minimap as essential , apparently
Anyone else getting this error with the latest Witcher version? June 6 Hotfix version? Without the Hotfix some mods get errors = @ annotation related.
With the Hotfix some mods like this one get error=
Installing Friendly HUD float() argument must be a string or a real number, not 'NoneType' Uninstalling Friendly HUD float() argument must be a string or a real number, not 'NoneType' > Installed 0 mods or dlcs (1 errors)
hi everyone, i love this mod but i think i disappread the witcher medallion and health bar somehow lol.
i made witcher medallion option ON from the vanilla hud menu but i think i used some friendly hud option while trying some options. could someone pls help me always ON health bar?
When i enter combat, health bar appears, it's normal but when i am in exploration it disappears.
my second question is: can i make these green icons disappear but appear with only witcher senses (right mouse button).
In the classic version you had to switch off most HUD elements and then activate them in the Mod (usually bound to witchersense-buttonpress/swordsheathe) 1) Main Hud Visibility set to ´on´ 2) everything else ´off´ (I have enemy/boss bars, breathing, info messages and POI on minimap still ´on´)
I think your green one is: ´display current buffs´ or ´action log´ (which may still be switched on in your main HUD Configuration - set it to ´off´ - then look it up in the FriendlyHud >Hud settings: enable combat modules(?) and set it ´off´ (and enable on swordsheathe) - I set everything to off or on swordsheathe/minimap to witchersense time-out 0 sec or something), so if you want to see your hp bar you just draw your sword.
you may want to experiment with the compass (set to invisible but ´appearing´ with witchersense): you can decide to see what, for how long and where (and how: size/color of text and/or icons)
Hey wghost! Does it work the same way as classic? Used your mod there - turned out to be the most essential one! Was very reluctant to try out nextGen - but your mod is here, so why not? THANK YOU

Can someone tell me how? Struggling with this. Tried every setting i think lol
