installed it per instructions- not hard at all- used my script merger tool said there was a conflict so i let it ..yk do its thing. went into game - dropped the sword, picked it up - fast travelled , didnt work..dropped it again and picked it up..still nothing..any help would really cool..i hate having to hit a normal human bandit 8 times when im supposed to be a super human witcher lol..3 times max IMO..so yeah need a way to beef up my gear pls
still not working for me- i did have to use script merger not sure if that broke somthing or would cause the issue?... but followed the instructions- fast travelled - dropped the item picked it back up- fast traveled again- nothin
You need to fast travel first. Just be aware that your items will continue to multiply in damage/protection everytime your fast travel. it can get to the point where your game will eventually crash. so just make sure that you turn it off in the options>mods after you scale it once.
Use the Witcher 3 mod manager, it's much better for this game. Plus there are a lot of nods you can only install manually, but it's usually pretty simple.
All what you need to do is to check the file integrety of your game installation. If the game was installed using Steam: Right click on Witcher 3 > "Properties" > "Local files" > "Verify integrity of game files" . Steam will now look for corrupted files or other errors and will replace the affetced files with the newest versions. Once that is done, you fixed the error and have fun with the mod.
For those who are curious: As a developer I try to explain from what I understand what's going here. What you see in the top are the game compiler's error messages. It appears after installing the mod, the game's launcher triggers a new compilation of the game after it spotted possibly a new file (or more) and changes in the path D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pcAtleast this is what I assume. I dont know the internal development stuff of this game nor meta related stuff about it's engine. The file bttaskmanagehpregeneffects.ws in line 1 has unicodes the compiler can't handle. Either the files were in a wrong format before new game updates, it has become an obsolete file or the file was corrupted. I... dont know what caused this.
My relic weapons and equipped armour have been scaled so high. My master crafted ursine armour gives me like 7000 armour and my ami sword does almost 12k damage. nothing I do seems to reset or lower the levels. I normally wouldnt mind especially with those swords now selling for around 200k but even with enhanced vanilla upscaling mods im still one shotting a lot of enemies. im not sure exactly when it happened but I noticed after I downloaded Essential weapons rework so its probably related to the new relic sword buff
Exiting out of the game and reloading should reset your stats, and every teleport and cutscene increases your stats unless you turn off level scaling in the mod menu after teleporting once.
