Important: Before activating Photo Mode in a cutscene, enable it shortly before, then exit out of it. You only need to do this once when loading a new save. This is because the camera will be in the last place photo mode was used. Adding this here in case someone skips the description. This isn't a bug, and it can't be fixed.
Alright so, I've figured why I couldn't trigger photo mode during cutscenes even with the mod installed. To those of you who can't trigger it even by pressing your bound key or both the left and right stick on your controller, you'll need to check in your input.settings.
Check out for [Scene] and add these lines under it:
(Replace U in IK_U with the key you use to trigger photo mode on your keyboard.) Furthermore, I'm not sure if it should be added there as well but just to be sure, add the lines under [SCENE_IS_STARTING_HACK] just in case. You should now be able to trigger the photo mode while in a cutscene.
They are the default button indeed except they weren't written under [Scene] in my input.settings file, I had to add them on my own. I figured some people might have the same issue as well as photo mode wasn't working for everyone either back when the update was released
Thanks a lot, I had the same issue. And I also had to insert IK_U to start photomode during normal scenes before. Maybe there's a difference between updated and newly installed games.
Amazing mod, allowed me to different angles on scenes I really wanted to for a long time, the only thing I wish it was possible was for either a way for the camera to go straight to Geralt, no matter where he is or the camera being able to go through walls or other objects, other than that I don't have any issues with it
It would be better if there was no Depth of Field bug in cutscenes. DoF cannot be turned off, only the "autofocus" mode works... Also, it's conflicting with Custom Player Characters mod, because both Photo Mode and CPC mod use U key.
I think i found a workaround. on in-game settings I retoggled to disable all the settings like depth of field, motion blur etc. It seems to fixed the issue, at least for the time being.

Either way, thanks for sharing!
