I can't run RT but what I don't understand is why would a mod be needed to get "better" ray tracing? I thought the whole point of using ray tracing is that reflections/shadow etc were to be rendered accurately. The before and after shots look great. I'm sure this mod is fantastic.
They are rendered accurately, but since most of the time reflections are blurry or distorted, they used lower quality models and lower distance object render distances to save on performance. For most people this isn't noticeable, but the sharp eye will notice that a lot of things are off with the reflections and shadows. Most of the games that use RT do this without you noticing.
Is there any way to improve reflections for DX11? In particular, currently, the water reflections in the game are angle-dependent, meaning that reflections disappear visible at certain viewing angles.
FYI since you've done a little work on this sort of thing, referencing this and your mirrors mod, do you know if there is a way to address the Purple Windows thing that pops up in 4.04?
It's like all the houses in every city have purple LED mood lighting shining through to the outside. It's so weird.

It would be great if someone could fix this problem, as it's obvious that CD Projekt isn't going to fix it

And so far NO ONE had reported this that this was with RT off... on a mod about RT.
CDPR again rely on the modders power.
Geralt's shadow doesn't have the hair. He seems bald. How can i fix this? This happen only when i set Ray Tracing ON.
Don't turn on Hairwork when using Ray Tracing.
