If you're updating from the version 1.1 or 1.2, navigate inside your 'The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\dlc' folder and delete the dlcNilfgaardianArmorForTheAudience. You can safely ignore this message if updating from the version 1.0.
If you've downloaded before the misc file 'Nilfgaardian Armor - Over Level 100 Patch', you can removed it as the change made into this one have been integrated into the main version 1.5.
Hi Seth, I came up with an idea but I don't know if it's possible to implement it in your mods. It would be great if Geralt was attacked by Redenian soldiers when they saw him using Nilfgaard's team and if Nilfgaard's soldiers attacked Geralt when they saw him with Temeria's team, do you think a mod could be made that allows this?
Hi, this is a really neat idea. I also though about doing something like that some time ago, i'm sure with script if you have the coding' skills it's doable. Unfortunatly i don't know much about that. Yet. Still learning a lot at each new mod, so may be one day it'll be real :)
Hi, i have to ask but havn't you already looted the three stand ? If not that's really weird, cause the mod doesn't edit the stands on the sides and their loots. As i've updated the mod 3 times today, what version do you use ? Can you check with the latest ?
I'm always using latest version with nextgen also I didn't loot anything from stands just I was checking this mod working or not then I realized stands were empty.
Have you check if you got any conflicting files in script merger ? The mod can be install/uninstall anytime before looting the stand, so i don't see how you can get that issue. Can you share your save ?
Glad you find what cause the issue As for a patch, i looked into it, i can't make one. A patch can be made when both mod modify the sames files, to bring the change introduce by the two conflicting mod. NG++ is only a script mod. Mine doesn't edit a single line of script. I don't know how exactly it could 've cause this issue, but it should be reported to the author.
Hmm I guess I almost solved the problem with NG Plus Plus mod but I need your permission about making patch with it I mean I'm not able to make mods but Lewis already solving this kind of problem with this mod maybe he can extended his mod and make a patch for your mod if you give permission to him of course?
Oh very interesting! I didn't know at all about Lewis mod. If all it takes is to set player_level_max=0 into the XML then consider it done. You can find a patch under the misc section. Can you try it and tell me if that worked out ? (And if i'm missing something else to solved it, you and Lewis can totally make a patch = )
I don't want to cause misunderstanding but I guess you made a mistake with your mod as giving its name modNilgaardianArmor_LVL100++ because after renaming the mod with mod0NilgaardianArmor_LVL100 problem solved with NG Plus Plus mod anyway sorry for bother with this problem to you and thanks for your thoughtful made mod :)
No need to ask permission. It's SethLeCornu to do that by not setting "player_max_level=100". For all his mods he made. Never put "100" max level to loot/shop.
@MasterKing you don't bother at all, glad it finaly work, enjoy :) Edit : I've update the name folder to avoid alphabetical load order conflict.
Hi Lewis, thing is CDPR themselves set this 'player_min/max_level' everywhere in XML. Many other mods use that structure too, including BIA. Have you experience any side effect by putting them to 0 ? I think i will keep those over level 100 as patch for now.
There is no side effect nor bring bugs. It's CDPR mistake to put a "max level" on almost everything, while it's mechanically possible to bypass that level. We shouldn't put a max 100 level to loot/shop since there are mods that allow to be higher than level 100.
That's why I made Fixed Level 100 Plus, and why I make it BiA Compatible. But it's not my responsibility to do for every existed mods. It's the modder responsibility to NOT set max level at 100.
After installing the mod, I can't trigger the cutscene where you show the chamberlain the outfit you've chosen for the audience. The game behaves as if I'm only wearing the towel no matter which outfit I wear.
Hi, on what game version do you play with ? I only support the latest version of the game, where it behave as intended (Tested again this morning before pushing 1.1 update).
Can you do the same sort of thing, only with the Ornate Robe/Elegant Beauclair Doublet for the Vegelbud ball/Skellige Wake? That would be tops! Either one for each, or both would be ideal.
It's the vanilla level requierement for this armor. Read the description, their is a word about a mod you can use to scale it's level to the player level to alleviate that issue.
Unless it break with a game update or if their is an issue i'm not aware off, probably not. As i play with W3EE Redux, level aren't an issue for me (and their is plenty other mod that can cover this part) and i don't want to loose much time to fix vanilla game using twice or more the same assets.
I have a question:Could you add another armor stand and place the Niilfgardian Armor set on it so we can choose between the 3 vanilla clothes and the armor set?
Probably, but i wont : i want the Nilfgaardian Armor to be considered as a valid choice for the corresponding quest, so it use one of the three uniques dialogue. While adding another choice is possible, if it don't have a unique unique dialogue, i don't see the point. And even if you can mix the three choices of suits you have with this mod, it's main goal is wearing a fitting armor to meet Emyr ;)
I was thinking about making a mod like this when I learned how to use Redkit. My idea was to move the Asian armors to the master craftsmen’s shop, replace the White Tiger of the West armor with Nilfgaardian armor (including Roach’s equipment), adjust Yennefer’s letter content, and make the Temerian armor (including Roach’s equipment) part of the reward the Baron gives you for accompanying him to rescue his wife.
Obviously, my idea would require using the mod you mentioned by Partoutatix and optionally also the Armor Rework mod to convert the Nilfgaardian armor into light armor and the Temerian armor into medium armor.
It makes sense for the emperor to equip his newly hired witcher with Nilfgaardian gear. It would be great if you considered making the Temerian armor a reward from the baron, or failing that, make the Temerian armor and Roach’s equipment replace the Nilfgaardian gear in the Crow’s Perch quartermaster’s shop, as this also makes sense. Similarly, it makes sense that in White Orchard, we are forced to use looted or found equipment and cannot buy Temerian gear there
Hi, i actually do plan to also give the player Nilgaardian Roach's gear too. But that's for another mod. Like you suggest, i was thinking about adding them in the chest mention by Yennefer's letter. The context of the letter is a bit vague, at least in french, so it wouldn't even require to be rewritten. I just need to think about a merge free solution, so it don't conflict with other big overhaul mod i play with.
I do have plan too for the Temerian armor. Didn't think about making it a reward from Baron quest, i like your idea ! And i totaly agree whith what you say about the loot shop.
Nice! I had this idea in my last playthrough, to get the set by console commands after the audience, as if Geralt had received from the chamberman before leaving.

Lewis' this mod solving by the way: Fixed Level 100 Plus

(after patch as you can see still your outfit didn't appeared)

Can you send me your save so i can test it on my end ?
Edit : seams their is an issue with the NG+, working on it right now.Edit 2 : just upload a new version that should fix this. Let me know if that's all good for you now. Thanks for the report!
